We live in an agony of self-interest.
Until we find love.
Love leads us out of ourselves.
Love leads us to the other.
And ultimately to sacrifice for the other.
So love leads us from selfishness to sacrifice.

True. We should not be selfish or self-centered, especially at the expense of others. We should look after our legitimate self-interests, but at the same time we should be active in the good of others.

ReplyDeleteIt id through love that we find our way in life.
And eventually find God.
