Truth.

God's Light shows us the Truth.

And what are lies but buried fears.

Fear of the truth.

Fear of consequences.

That is why there must be truth before reconciliation.

Truth before forgiveness.

We cannot lie our way out of it.

We cannot lie to God.

Out of fear.

We have nothing to fear from God.

God loves us like a Father.

And God's Truths are self-evident.

Let Them Live.

What does it mean to love our enemies?

Victory does not mean destroying our enemies.

Nor does it mean sending them to hell.

It does not even mean marginalizing them.

We must let them live.

And pray that their enmity will cease.

So pray for your enemies.

That the Light from God will show them the fear that drives them, and us.

God will not destroy your enemies.

For they are His children also.

So live and let live.

Bury the hatchet.

And make peace at last.

Obstruction.

The right-wing reactionary forces in our society are blocking any attempts to change the Status Quo.

A Status Quo which now sees the highest disparity between rich and poor in history.

Any incentives on climate change, tax reform, gun control, social welfare, foreign aid, asylum seekers etc. are being deliberately obstructed.

Google Foreign Aid for example and you are inundated with articles telling you that foreign aid is bad for everyone.

Try Gay Rights and you will encounter numerous articles by Fundamentalist Christians telling you that homosexuality is evil.

All these things, plus propaganda in the news media, are obstructing any positive changes.

And it is history now that Republicans have repeatedly blocked legislation on gun control in America.

So be more discriminating if you want things to change.

We are being brainwashed.

Bravado.

Why do some people appear strong when they are in fact full of fear?

Bravado.

Putting forth a brave exterior is fear itself.

They are full of fears.

But they are afraid of showing their fears for fear of being called weak.

So they project bravado.

Listen to Him.

At the Transfiguration the voice from the cloud said, "'This is my son, the Beloved, listen to him.'"  Mark 9:7 (NRSV)

But most Christians ignore what Jesus said and adhere to Tradition.

Jesus said of the Pharisees, "'You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition!'"  Mark 7:9 (NRSV)

Jesus also said, "'For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, "He has a demon"; the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, "Look. a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners!"'"  Luke 7:33-35 (NRSV)

So it is clear that the Traditions of the Church may not reflect the teachings of Jesus.

And where there is a conflict the words of Jesus must always take precedence.

Love.

We fear that we are not worthy of love.

A massive inferiority complex makes us doubt that we are lovable.

But God's Love is constant.

God loves all His children.

To be human is to be worthy of love.

Even animals and trees are worthy of love.

And it is fear that inhibits our love.

Love God and love your neighbor.

Love even your enemies.

Because all are equally worthy of love.

From Fear to Love.

If I can do one thing in this world it is to change people's motivation from fear to love.

So much of what motivates us is fear:

Fear of poverty.  Fear of rejection.  Fear of ridicule.  Fear of God.

So much of traditional Church doctrine is based on fear:

Fear of judgement.  Fear of damnation.  Fear of hell.

But God does not judge us for our mistakes.

He does not punish us.

So there can be no hell.

Once we realize this we lose our fear.

And we are secure in the Love of God.

God loves us like a Father.

And He requites our love for Him.

"We love because he first loved us."  1 John 4:19 (NRSV)

If we overcome our fear we can show our love for everyone.

Think Pink.

Rock music and entertainment have sexualized young people to such an extent that they have lost sight of love.

So rather than hot pants and torn jeans we should think pink.

Pink represents love and centers us in the heart.

And it is in our heart that we find the love that will save us.

Casual sex leads to emptiness and suffering.
You will be burnt out by the time you are 30.

Better to think pink and find love in your heart.

Happiness.

I read a survey on the Internet which rated the countries of the world in order of happiness.

Finland was the world's happiest country.

And the top ten was dominated by Scandinavian countries.

The U.S.A. and the U.K. were 18th and 19th.

The unhappiest countries were mostly in Africa, particularly areas affected by war.

Australia was 10th behind Canada and New Zealand.

It is significant that the Scandinavian countries were the happiest because they have the world's best welfare systems so people feel secure.

Rich countries with poor social safety nets rated much lower on the list.

A Starfish.

When we talk about world poverty many people say that its not worth doing because it's just a drop in the ocean.

But I am reminded of the story of thousands of starfish washed up on the shore.

A man was walking along the beach picking up starfish and throwing them back into the sea.

Another man saw him and yelled out, "What are you doing that for?  There are thousands of them.  It's just a meaningless gesture."

The man replied. holding up a starfish, "To this little fella it means all the world!"

It may be a drop in the ocean but if enough of us do it we become the ocean.

Set Them Free!

I read a story on the Internet about modern slavery in Thailand.

Climate change has forced farmers off the land and their debts have been bought up by unscrupulous companies which set them to work making bricks.

The debts of course just keep increasing and their children are expected to take over the debts when they die.

This is modern slavery.

Surely rich Westerners could find it in their hearts to pay off the debts and set them free.

Alternatively a campaign could be started on the Internet to to raise funds to pay off the debts.

It is only the hardness of our hearts that is stopping us from doing these things in our modern world.

I pray that we will open our hearts and set them free!

No Sports.

Sports are saturated with Satanism.

Sports men and women, coaches, commentators, journalists have sold their souls for fame and fortune and the perfection of their chosen field.

They practise black magic and Satanism and they try to addict you to their sports.

They will tempt you to gamble.

And before long you will be thinking about sports and forgetting your ideals.

Satanism in sports is one of the main determinants behind the decline of the Church.

People would rather think about their football team than their religion.

And they will go to a match on Sunday rather than a Mass.

So be aware that evil lurks in the background.

And many of your heroes have sold their souls.

Admitting It.

We will not admit what we have done for fear of what people will think of us.

They will think we are weak.

They will pick on us.

We cannot afford to show any weakness.

But if we are truly strong we can admit our mistakes and even enhance our self-respect.

Being Wrong.

Why do we insist on things even when we know they are wrong?

Fear of being wrong is a major motivation for injustice in our world.

We fear looking foolish.

We fear losing respect.

We fear losing our position in society or our job.

This was a major motivation for Jesus' crucifixion.

The Pharisees feared losing their position as the Spiritual Shepherds of Israel.

And the Romans feared insurrection because Jesus was being hailed as the Messiah - the King of the Jews.

So do not be afraid of being wrong.

God will still love you.

And you may even earn the respect of society.

Honest John.

"'He will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.  With the spirit and the power of Elijah he will go before him, to turn the hearts of parents to their children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for God.'"  Luke 1:16.17 (NRSV)

This was the prophecy of the Archangel Gabriel to Zechariah the father of John the Baptist.

"And the crowds asked him, 'What then should we do?'  In reply he said to them, 'Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.'  Even tax-collectors came to him to be baptized, and they asked him, 'Teacher, what should we do?'  He said to them. 'Collect no more than the amount prescribed for you.'  Soldiers also asked him, 'And we, what should we do?'  He said to them, 'Do not extort money from anyone by threats or false accusations, and be satisfied with your wages.'"  Luke 3:10-14 (NRSV)

So John's message, which was to prepare the people for the coming Messiah, was one of  basic honesty and charity.

People were not to hoard things for themselves which could be shared with others who had nothing.

And people in positions of authority were not to extort money from others by stealth or by threats.

John's message was one of equality and integrity.

Obvious qualities which could be emulated today.

We have lost sight of basic honesty in this winner-take-all world.

Money and profit justify anything.

All's fair in love and war.

The end justifies the means.

And corruption is in the interests of the shareholders.

We are living in a time of intense darkness.

Darkness which hides greed, corruption, and murder.

The time has come to turn to the Light.

To expose the evil practices of the Fathers.

And to turn their hearts to their children - their workers and their employees.

Not to treat them as the enemy but to love and provide for them as if they were their own children.

We must abandon all notions of superiority.

We must reject all dishonest practices.

We must overcome our fears.

And open our hearts to God and to the people.

Kill.

"But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves 'This is the heir, let us kill him and get his inheritance.'"  Matthew 21:38 (NRSV)

The impulse to kill is inspired by jealousy.

And jealousy is fear.

Whitewash.

What the Right-Wing Plutocrats do is black and white.

Following the example of Satanic rock musicians they whitewash themselves and blacken their enemies.

Following the example of Ronald Reagan they manipulate both Satanism and Religion.

They use the backwards magic of Satanism to scapegoat innocent gays and Hippies and Left-Wing Politicians.

And they use the Holy Spirit to hide their guilt by enlisting the blessing of their political allies in Religion.

But while people allow their perceptions to be manipulated in this way the Plutocrats will not desist from their evil practices.

Light comes from God.

And it is by His Light that we will see.

See that our perceptions are reversed.

And the guilty and the corrupt rule our world.

No One Can See Us.

"Then he said to me, 'Mortal, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of images?  For they say, "The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land."'"  Ezekiel 8:12 (NRSV)

And so it is today - the fathers plot and plan against the people and the Will of God.

"The shepherds also have no understanding,
they have all turned to their own way.
to their own gain, one and all."  Isaiah 56:11 (NRSV)

So now they plot to enslave the people for their own gain.

They say, "No one can see us, God has forsaken the Earth."

And they conspire with evil in the darkness.

Corporate Plutocrats and Satanic rock stars.

Subliminal propaganda and black magic.

Controlling the unconscious for power and profit.

Each in his chamber of images.

Hidden from sight.

But God can see them.

He knows what they are doing.

And He wishes to bring His Light and His Salvation.

Not to destroy but to Redeem.

Not to kill but to restore to Life!

So pray for the Salvation of the guilty and of the fathers.

Pray for an end to their evil machinations.

Pray for them to overcome their fears.

And have faith in the Living God!

For He will provide.

And open their hearts.

Satan Rules O.K..

Not!

The society created by the rule of the rich and the dominance of the darkness is not O.K..

We are powerless.

We are helpless.

We are distracted.

We are deceived.

We are poisoned.

We are wrecked.

The negative messages hidden in rock music and popular entertainment sabotage our happiness and kill any spiritual aspirations.

Better to turn them off and pray for deliverance.

The Kingdom of Heaven.

"'From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.'"  Matthew 11:12 (NRSV)

This is the way that the world responds to the Good News - to take it by force and violence.

But what is force and violence but fear.

Fear of poverty, fear of starvation, fear of work.....

This is the motivation of the rich and powerful.

They think that they can win by force and violence.

And it was with force and violence that they crucified Jesus.

But death is not the end.

On the third day God resurrected Jesus and raised him to Eternal Life!

Gentleness.

The philosophy of God is gentleness.

Jesus said, "'Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart'"  Matthew 11:29 (NRSV)

God is all those things that the world is not.

God is considerate.

God is reliable.

God requites our love.

God listens.

God helps.

If we can reflect these things then we are creating the Kingdom of God on Earth.

This is how we make a difference.

Brutality.

The philosophy of the corporate plutocrats who rule our world is brutality.

They rule by violence, threat, and fear.

They are domineering.

They are corrupt.

They have no faith in God.

And they condone crime.

Our governments obey them.

Our armies advance them.

And our police protect them.

No one challenges their absolute power.

And so we are powerless to stop them.

Come Out!

Jesus said, "'I have chosen you out of the world.'"  John 5:19 (NRSV)

What does it mean to come out of the world?

Fundamentalists will tell you it's all about sex - coming out of the Whore of Babylon and coming out of Sodom.

This betrays their deep-seated phobias about sex.
And it is wrong!

Coming out of the world means denouncing the ways of the world - i.e. the brutality and materialism of our corporate masters, the worship of money and status, the corruption and evil of the world.

God calls us out of this dog-eat-dog world of violence and domination in order to teach us the ways of Love.

And then He sends us back into the world as agents of Love.

Servants.

My experience of people who talk about service all the time is that they want servants.

They mix up ministry with mastery and counsel with command.

They claim that they are serving when they are self-serving.

And they reinforce their own power and position.

Rather than serving I would prefer to love.

Then there can be no confusion.

We are here to love.

Not to lord it over others.

What is Good?

To bring life where there is none.

To bring joy where there is sorrow.

To bring light where there is darkness.

To bring peace where there is conflict.

To bring mercy where there is judgement.

To bring forgiveness where there is punishment.

To bring charity where there is fear.

To bring compassion where hearts are hard.

But most of all:

To bring Love.

Which God?

When we are young we are presented with various versions of God.

The Orthodox God, the Fundamentalist God, the Protestant God, the Catholic God, the Pentecostal God, the Islamic God, the Hindu God, the Buddhist God, the Aboriginal God.....

Most of these Gods are judgemental and punitive.

But intuitively we know that God is benevolent.

So which God do we choose?

The only way to know God is through direct experience.

Once we have made contact with God we find that most of the versions of God that we have been taught are false.

God does not judge us.

God does not punish us.

God forgives us.

His mercy is infinite.

And His goodness is ubiquitous.

God is reliable.

God is trustworthy.

God is truthful.

But most of all:

God is Love.

What's Happening.

What's happening is this:

Adolescent wannabes want fame and fortune so much that they sell their souls for it.

"Money for nothing and your chicks for free."

Then they do the dirty on their fans.

"Dirty deeds done dirt cheap."

They entice their fans to sin and transgress in the hope that they will go to hell forever.

They push the negatives and stab them in the back.

They sell death - death to God.
Depression, degradation, drugs and suicide.

This is what lies beneath the mask of modern rock music.

So don't take everything at face value.

Evil lurks beneath the surface.

The Truth.

Despite the fact that some try to claim that everything is relative there is a truth.

There are facts.

And one of those facts is that rock stars sell their souls to the devil and poison and curse us continually.

Another fact is that Ronald Reagan and Generation X used violence and evil to reconstruct the Baby-Boomers.

Hate and intimidation forced our generation to abandon their quest to save the world.

So, far from the media propaganda that Reagan and X are heroes, they are evil people and their legacy is evil.

This is the truth.

And history will vindicate the truth.

Education.

Since the 1980s education has been considered job training.

But education is so much more than that.

Education is the development of a discriminating intelligence.

It is the awareness of the history of thought.

It is enrichment through culture.

It is enlightenment.

It is empowerment.

The time has come to return education  to its rightful place.

And imbue our young people with its riches.
