God's Work 1.

God's work in the world is: to advocate for the voiceless, to support the poor, to shelter the homeless, to welcome the alien, to help the destitute, to heal, to make peace, to enlighten, and to love.....

And right-wing Christians and political parties oppose it at every turn.

Hate.

Hate is irrational.

It is a blind, impulsive, knee-jerk reaction.

And it is rooted in fear.

But unconscious hate is contagious.

You may find yourself reacting to something or someone without knowing why.

Hate campaigns conducted in the media impact the unconscious.

Many of these campaigns are directed at powerful women - usually women on the left side of politics.

Misogyny and homophobia are sown in this way.

So be aware that malevolent forces in our media and entertainment are spreading hate to further right-wing social agendas.

And pray to God to deliver us.

Fear.

What causes human beings to resort to violence and force is fear.

Fear is the cause of all the world's conflicts.

From domestic violence to international wars.

The root of it all is fear.

Brutality and intimidation are fear of weakness.

Or more precisely fear of being called weak which is fear of being overpowered.

Bullying - whether in the schoolyard or on the international stage - is the result of this fear.

So where there is conflict we should look to the fears that lie beneath the surface.

If we address these fears the conflict will be resolved.

And there will be Peace.

The Beast.

The Biblical witness explains that the Beast is human beings resorting to violence, brutality, force, and intimidation.

And this is what Ronald Reagan and his allies unleashed in his war against the left.

The judgement, blaming, and shaming of the left-leaning Hippies and Baby-Boomers was merely the right hand of the Beast.

Because it invoked violence, brutality, force, and intimidation.

"Also it caused all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead."  Revelation 13:16 (NRSV)

But those who had been beheaded - "who had not worshipped the beast or his image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands."  Revelation 20:4 (NRSV)

That is those who did not resort to violence or force but were non-violent and non-reconstructed - were saved.

God is Ahimsa - non-violent.     

And Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

So do not resort to violence and force to achieve your aims.

But pray to God that the Light will dawn.

And all will be saved.

God On Our Side.

Right-wing Christians think that they own God.

They think that God is angry and vengeful.

They think that God is full of hate and fear like they are.

And they think that their conservative social agenda is God's Will.

But God is the God of everyone.

He is merciful and forgiving.

He is tolerant and open.

God is the Father of all.

And God is Love.

One of Us.

What happens when you join a church is that the congregation tries to make you like them.

And as we live in an affluent society this means that an attitude of apathy, complacency, and hypocrisy will result.

Ministers come out of colleges with idealism, enthusiasm, and zeal for God.

But they soon find that their congregations are obdurate and evasive.

They may put up a facade of amiable friendliness.

They may even think of themselves as good.

  

They say the words.

They sing the hymns.

But in reality they do not practise what the minister preaches.

They reinforce their comfortable lifestyles.

And they rationalize their shortcomings.

They criticize the poor.

And they blame the victims.

They ignore the Gospel.

And they live like kings.

They are worldly and materialistic.

And they dominate the Church.

Racism and Homophobia.

Recently several AFL players complained about racist and homophobic tweets on their websites.

This is nothing new in the AFL.

Racism and homophobia are long-standing problems in professional sports, especially male team sports like the AFL.

But this is not the only source of the problem.

Racism and homophobia infect the Churches and society in general.

It is virulent and embedded.

But it is unacceptable in our modern world.

 

And so something should be done in the AFL, the Churches, and society in general to disarm this ignorant and hateful influence.

Reactionary Conservative Christians

Who judge everyone and attack any challengers

Do not know Jesus

And they do not know God.

Jesus did not condemn sinners.

And God is Merciful.

We are called to forgive

And to love our enemies.

Not to demonize 

And damn any opposition.

Bad.

Generation X was:

Bad, black, dark, violent, the devil, hate, vice, sin, and evil.

But they were the most favored nation of Ronald Reagan and his corporate allies because of their right-wing political views.

Any ideals or ethics were labelled Politically Correct and summarily dismissed.

But nothing lasts forever.

Ronald Reagan is dead and there is a Democrat President in the White House.

Pope Francis has revived Liberation Theology.

And a new generation has risen.

Those born around the Millennium (The Millennials) are politically aware and active.

They are at the head of Gun Control protests.

And they lead the way on Climate Change.

And so the Zeitgeist has shifted.

Once again ideals and ethics are respected.

And bad will go from first to last.

Fear Not!

When angels draw near they say:

"Fear not!"

This is because when the Divine manifests humans react with fear.

We fear punishment.

We fear retribution.

But God is not vengeful.

He does not punish us for our sins.

And so they say:

"Fear not!"

Born From Above.

The ethos that comes from God is:

Merciful, Forgiving, and Gracious.

We are not moved to judgement, punishment, or condemnation.

These things are human concepts projected onto God.

God transcends our human concepts of Dualism and Natural Justice.

God is Merciful.

He forgives us.

And He moves us to forgive others.

To show Mercy and Compassion.

But most of all:

To Love.

There is only one supernatural power.

And that is God.

Anyone who believes otherwise is a victim of the Great Illusion - that is taking the One for two.

But God is beyond our human concepts of Dualism.

God is One.

And all is interconnected.

God is Good.

And His Love endures forever.

Sports.

Satanism in sports pushes a hard-nosed philosophy.

Win at all costs, work harder, mental toughness, go for the kill.....

It is brutal, ruthless, and violent.

It will addict you.

It will obsess you.

It deflects you from your purpose.

And it sabotages your spirituality.

So don't follow the philosophy of sports men and women. 

It is poison.

And it is Satanism.

Life, Light, and Love.

And so we turn to the Words of Life:

The Living God, the Water of Life, the Gates of Day, the White Light, the Good News, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, the Way the Truth and the Life.....

And we affirm the Agents of Light:

The Holy Spirit, the Dove, the Lamb, the Bread and the Wine.

And we assert the Commandments to Love:

Love God and love one another.

Love even your enemies.

Pray for them.

This is the Way.

The path to Eternal Life!

Popular Culture.

Death, darkness, night, violence, sin, and evil.

These things dominate our popular culture.

From rock music to movies and literature we are inundated with evil.

Sex, sin, hate, black, graves, snakes, spiders, skulls.....

All these things point to the hidden evil that afflicts us.

This is the secret cabal of Satanists in rock music, entertainment, and sports who have betrayed everyone.

They poison you and curse you.

And they want your soul in hell!

Evil.

Apart from the callous indifference, brutality, and fear that afflicts our world there is a hidden influence which makes life increasingly unbearable. 

This is an influence of deliberate evil which causes undeserved suffering for everyone.

This is the influence of Satanism concealed in our popular culture.

Rock music, T.V., movies, literature, computer games, and sports all contain disguised evil.

They tell you to do all the wrong things.

And they sabotage any spiritual aspirations.

They curse the Church.

And they glamorize evil.

So be aware.

And beware!

Crucify Him!

What we have to remember is that Jesus was crucified by religious people.

It was the religious authorities of Jesus own people who condemned him.

Pilate washed his hands and denied responsibility for his death.

And so we must look to ourselves and how we condemn those who challenge our beliefs.

Or we may be guilty of crucifying Jesus ourselves.

Good News.

The Good News of the Kingdom of God is that we are all forgiven, loved, and blessed by God.

There is no judgement.

There is no punishment.

We are forgiven.

 

And those who are forgiven more will love more.

Jesus was killed by worldly authorities.

Authorities who saw him as a threat.

The Romans feared The King of the Jews would lead an uprising against them.

And the religious authorities of Israel feared that they would lose their hold over the people and thus lose their privileges.

So they killed him.

And in time the Priests of Jesus' own Church reinstated the threats of judgement and punishment that Jesus had challenged.

And so we see the modern Orthodox theology of the Church reflecting the retributive and punitive aspects of Judaism rather than the mercy, forgiveness, and grace that Jesus preached.

And so there is Good News:

God loves us.

We are forgiven and loved.

And we will inherit Eternal Life!

Ahimsa.

Eastern religions embrace Ahimsa or non-violence.

This is an intrinsic aspect of God.

But how can non-violence overcome violence?

The answer is that God is Light.

And Light will reveal the root of violence in fear.

And when this is achieved the violence stops.

God.

God is not the patriarchal, punitive, arch-conservative, intolerant tyrant that traditional religion claims Him to be.

God does not judge us.

God loves us.

The false image of God propagated by the Churches is a projection of the traits of earthly authority figures.

They think that God should be rewarding good and punishing evil.

And they decide who is good and who is evil. 

But in reality God does not do this.

God is Merciful, Forgiving, and Gracious.

He does not hold us to ransom for our sins.

And He does not discriminate.

God is Love.

And His Love endures forever.

Words of Life.

Good, truth, life, light, non-violence, and love.

These are the words of Life.

Guidelines for worthwhile living.

They are compatible with the 10 Commandments.

And they compliment Eastern Religious teachings.

They counteract: Bad, lies, death, darkness, violence, and hate.

Which dominate our popular culture.

And they contradict Generation X.

Heaven.

All peoples of the world pray.

They may pray to different gods.

But all of these gods represent the benevolent will of Heaven and their compassion for our sufferings.

These sufferings are not caused by God.

They are the result of the ignorant actions of humans with free will.

And so we look to the Light.

To pierce the darkness.

And dispel evil.

Angels and Bodhisattvas.

Devil-worshippers are corrupting and cursing us through the unconscious.

Rock stars, celebrities, and sports men and women poison our minds while we are watching them.

This is done through subliminal messages and images.

This is why most people are unaware of their activities.

But closer inspection will reveal negative suggestions.

   

Death, darkness, vice, violence, hate, sin, and evil.

All these things are evident.

But how can we counter these negative messages if most people are unaware that they exist?

Angels and Bodhisattvsas guard us against evil.

It is their job to turn us away from evil and towards good.

So pray that God will send Angels and Bodhisattvas to save us and deliver us all from evil.
