Our True Selves.

Carl Jung said that we hide our real selves behind masks of geniality or toughness or bravado or aggression.

Some will even assume an appearance of evil.

The reason for this is fear learned in childhood and carried into adulthood.

So perhaps the people most difficult to deal with are the people who have been hurt the most.

Their real selves are buried deep within them.

They are protecting themselves - the hearts that have been broken.

But God can touch this self, this child, this soul.

God's love takes away our fear.

And we can live again.

All the Wrong Things.

Rock stars tell you to do all the wrong things:

"Taking the easy way out.", "I am a Rock", "Mind Games", "Take it to the Limit", "Rocketman", "Walk On By", "Helpless", "Rock and Roll Suicide", "Paint it Black", "Sympathy for the Devil", "Satisfaction", "I'm Not in Love", and many more.....

These songs contain a death-wish.

They deliberately sabotage our spiritual progress.

They break your heart.

And they sow evil and hatred.

This induces intense suffering.

Drugs dull the pain.

It can result in suicide.

So turn off your rock music.

And open your heart.

Cry out to God!

And be healed.

Tolerance.

Instead of trying to create a new religion or trying to combine all religions into one we should be advocating tolerance.

Conflicting views is the bane of the world's religions and has caused bloodshed and war in the past.

Tolerance disarms this conflict and promotes harmonious co-existence.

When the world's religions can live in peace side by side the world will be a different place.

And tolerance is one of the attributes of Aquarius.

So we can look forward to a more peaceful world in the future.

Heaven.

Contrary to the view of vocal conservatives gay people are not destined for hell.

God loves His gay children as He loves all His children.

We are not condemned.

Nor are we evil.

Gay people are as human as others.

We live and love as others do.

And we have hopes and dreams like you.

But one thing remains to be said:

"Gay people go to Heaven."

Pope Francis said to a group of parents of LGBT+ children: "God loves your children as they are, we are all children of God."

This is in direct contradiction of the Catholic Bishops of Poland who want to set up special clinics to "help" LGBT+ people recover their "natural sexuality".

And the President of the European Union said: "LGBT Free Zones are humanity free zones and they have no place in our Union."

This contradicts both the political and religious leaders of Poland who have supported these LGBT Free Zones and called us "enemies of the State" and  a "rainbow plague". 

The statement made by the E.U. President has been endorsed by Joe Biden.

So the Fascist persecution of LGBT+ people in Poland has been condemned by the leaders of the free world and the leader of the Catholic Church itself.

Shepherds.

 

".....with force and violence you have ruled them."  Ezekiel 34:4 (NRSV)

This was the judgement of God towards the Shepherds of Israel - His own priests - in the time of Ezekiel.

And it its still true today!

Conspiracy.

Richard Nixon said: "What actually happens is ten times worse than you imagine."

And it is.

An evil conspiracy between right-wing plutocrats and Satanists in our popular culture threatens to destroy our world.

From the Marquis de Sade to 1984 they use every device available to them to control and subjugate the masses.

And this includes black magic and Satanism.

Satanic magic is backwards and upside-down, it is darkness, lies, hate, evil, and death.

It creates hell on earth.

And it causes untold suffering.

So unplug your earphones and turn off the T.V..

We are being brainwashed.

Treasure.

"'Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.'"  Matthew 13:52 (NRSV)

And so we bring out the best of both worlds:

What is new: tolerance, liberty, pacifism, positivity, benevolence, universalism, unitarianism, humanitarianism, unconditional love.

What is old: altruism, reverence, respect, gratitude, selflessness, charity, mercy, forgiveness, prayer, faith.

And we discard what is outmoded:

What is new: licence, excess, promiscuity, drugs, degradation, negativity, hedonism, cynicism, alienation.

What is old: violence, vengeance, judgement, punishment, hate, callousness, pragmatism, legalism, materialism, hypocrisy.

And so we salvage the treasure from the dross.

Knowledge.

Those who have chosen the Path of Knowledge study scriptures and philosophy and learn from life and art.

The culmination of this knowledge is the realization of the knowledge of God.

The X-Factor.

The X-Factor is Satanism.

Wannabes are encouraged to sell their souls for a rock star reception.

Satanists in the music industry sit as judges on talent shows in order to recruit disciples.

They tell them Satan can make them stars.

They flatter the winners and humiliate the losers.

The X-Factor is an edge.

And they tell them that Satan gives them an edge.

"Opening doors and pulling strings."

The X-Factor is Satanism.

And it is a lie.

Hate.

Hate is the dark side.

It is based on fear.

And fear is the cause of sin and suffering.

But God is the Light.

God is transcendent - beyond sin and evil.

God is wholly good.

God is wholly benevolent.

God is Love.

Counter Culture.

The Counter Culture was supposed to be better than the culture of the world.

But in many ways it was worse.

Drugs, divorce, criminality, callousness.....

All these things derived from Satanism in the rock music which inspired the Counter Culture.

Marijuana was supposed to be like a peace pipe for all those who rejected materialism and violence.

But marijuana led to addiction, mental illness, and death.

Harder drugs followed and euphoria was lost.

Peace and love became sex and drugs and rock and roll.

And the Hippies dream was destroyed.

God Provides.

In the beginning we all behave as if God has forsaken the world.

We act out of fear.

"Food doesn't grow on trees you know."

I'm afraid it does.

God provides.

And when we establish a relationship with God He provides for us.

There will always be enough.

And when we believe this our fear goes.

And we are able to act out of love.

Jesus' Voice.

                          

Jesus said: "'the sheep follow him (the shepherd) because they know his voice.  They will not follow a stranger, but they will run from him because they do not know the voice of strangers.'"  John 10:4,5 (NRSV)

And this is where Progressive Christians diverge from Fundamentalist and Orthodox Christians.

Progressive Christians listen to the voice of Jesus - they follow his words.

Fundamentalist and Orthodox Christians listen to voice of St. Paul and even the voice of King David.

St. Paul preached the mortification of the body. 

King David preached hatred of enemies.

But Jesus preached love for our enemies, and life in all its fullness.

He did not preach Prosperity Theology.

And he did not preach judgement and condemnation.

In fact Jesus said: "'Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.'"  Luke 6:37 (NRSV)

And: "You cannot serve God and wealth.'"  Matthew 6:24 (NRSV)

So listen to the voice of Jesus and not the other voices in the Bible.

The Last Step.

                        

Jesus said to love your enemies and pray for those who abuse you.

"'For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.'"  Matthew 5:45 (NRSV)

But he did not say why.

The reason, hidden from us until now, is because evil and the unrighteous are motivated by fear.

So their crimes are forgivable.

It is not entirely their fault.

They are afraid of retribution.

They are afraid of a false image of God.

An image which is inspired by fear.

So their crimes are forgivable.

God writes off their debts.

And God liberates their souls.

There are only two things in the world:

Fear and Love.

And when fear is gone.

There is only Love.

The Dry Bones.

The dream of the Hippies is dead.

It was bashed to death by Ronald Reagan and Generation X with the help of the multi-national corporations.

And the Hippies were reconstructed.

But the Bible tells us that God can revive what is dead.

"Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live."  Ezekiel 37:5 (NRSV)

"Thus says the Lord God: I am going to open your graves, and bring you up from your graves."  Ezekiel 37;12 (NRSV)  

And the breath of God entered into them and they lived.

So the dream of the Hippies can be revived and we can live again.

And we can enter into the Age of Aquarius.

Post-Truth.

In the present era, which one commentator described as Post-Truth, all that matters is how things are perceived.

Spin, sleight of hand, propaganda, and outright lies are considered the norm in a culture where winners take all.

And the winners write our history.

Hate campaigns, fear and smear, demonization, and shaming are weapons in the political war against the Left.  

Corporate plutocrats own our media and control our governments.

And they won't hesitate to use subliminal methods and even black magic techniques learned from rock stars in league with the devil.

Backwards words and images appear in advertising.

And flipping is the latest fad. 

So don't take everything at face value.

The chances are you are being deceived.

Ahimsa.

Ahimsa is the Eastern principle of non-violence.

God would not tell us to be non-violent if He was violent Himself.

Therefore God must be non-violent.

And all the passages in the scriptures which justify violence are in error.

God is non-violent.

And He expects us to be non-violent also.

Interconnectedness.

The collective unconscious is a network by which we are connected to all other humans.

It is the agent of our interconnectedness.

All things are interconnected.

And all things are connected with God.

God is at the center of all interconnectedness.

Unfortunately some influences in the collective unconscious spread violence, hatred, and evil.

These influences try to control us.

They tempt us.

And they corrupt us.

Viceland is just one example of this.

Rock music, movies, T.V., literature, and sports can infect us with these influences.

So it is up to us to meditate on non-violence, love, and goodness in order to neutralize these evils.

And pray to God to protect us.

God is One.

"Hear O Israel, the lord our God is One." 

This statement in Deuteronomy 6 contradicts all notions of Dualism.

Dualism developed in ancient Persia and influenced Judaism during the Persian Empire.

It states that God and the devil are equal co-creators of reality.

This was a primitive theory developed to explain our experience of the world.

But there are other explanations.

For example evil in our world can be attributed to the ignorance and fear of human beings with free will.

There is no need for a supernatural explanation of evil.

This means that the only supernatural force is God. 

And God is good.

So we are not surrounded by shadows and evil. 

We are surrounded by God's Love.

It is evident in creation.

And it is evident in the Life that is all around us.

But that is not to say that there is no evil in the world.

Evil exists in the form of people who have rejected the image of God as a harsh punisher and judge of humankind.

They have turned to the devil and do evil in the world.

Or so they believe.

Rock stars, entertainers, and sporting heroes have sold their souls for fame and fortune and a rock star reception. 

But the image of God which they have rejected is not the true image of God.  

Jesus said that the world did not know God.

By this he meant that the standard image of God as a harsh punisher and judge of humans was not what God is like at all.

God does not punish us.

And God does not judge us.

God is our loving Father.

And He loves all his children.

"Even the darkness is not dark to you,

the night is as bright as the day,

For darkness is as light to you."  Psalm 139:12 (NRSV) 

"God is light and in him there is no darkness at all."  1 John 1:5 (NRSV)

Deliver Us From Evil.

Generation X turned to Satan.

And when Ronald Reagan realized that the power of Generation X came from Satanism he said: "Use Satan to win."

And the Religious Right and the Republican Party are still there today.

They rely on the violence and hate of Generation X to win.

And they are in league with right-wing Satanists in our entertainment and sports.

Satanism is lies.

Joseph Goebbels said: "If you tell a big enough lie and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."    

And this is what Fox News does.

It feeds the irrational mentality of the Religious Right by repeating lies.

But the truth will out.

Lay down the sword and cry out to God for help.

He will hear.

And deliver us from evil.

Gay Love.

 

Because you call us homosexuals does not mean that our same sex attraction is purely sexual.

Our attraction is also love.

It resembles the great love of David and Jonathan in the Bible.

And it emulates the great Greek lovers of antiquity: Achilles and Patroclus, Hercules and Iolus, Theseus and Pierithous, Orestes and Pylades.....

Even the Greek gods had male lovers: Apollo and Hyacinthus, and Cyparissus; Zeus and Ganymede; Hermes and Crocus, and Perseus.....

So the idea that homosexuals are somehow more sexual than heterosexuals is a myth.

Homosexuality is love. 

And as such it is acceptable to God.

Love is Life.

When love is absent from our lives we feel empty, we feel desolate, we feel lonely, we feel hopeless, we feel helpless, and we cannot cope.

This is death-like.

But when there is love in our lives we feel happy, we feel fulfilled, we feel generous, we feel strong, we feel optimistic, and we can cope.

This is Life!

God is Love.

And when we love we are in God and God is in us.

Love God and love your neighbor.

And Live!

Love.

"Love is the fulfilling of the law."  Romans 13:10 (NRSV)

Rather than adhering more and more rigidly to moral principles we should consider practising love as the fulfillment of the law.

Moses gave humanity guidelines for living.

But Jesus' commandment was to love.

Many religious people practise righteousness as a pathway to Heaven.

But the deeper understanding is centered in the heart.

A tender, compassionate, loving heart is the basis of a closer relationship with God.

So do not get hung up on moral principles.

Confront your fears.

And open your heart.

One.

There is only one supernatural power.

And that is God.

There is no devil, no dark powers.

These notions derive from an assumption of Dualism.

That is that everything has a balancing negative.

But Dualism is a false conception.

Not all things in the universe come in pairs.

There are unities, trinities, decimals, duodecimals.....

The number is infinite.

So why would the Cosmos be dual?

God is Panentheistic.

That is God is everything and more.

All is interconnected.

And all is connected with God.

If you turn on the lights the darkness disappears like a dream.

The darkness has no power over the light.

Darkness is an illusion.

It is merely radiation which is outside the range of our human sensors - our eyes.

It has no substance in reality.

So Dualism is bankrupt.

God is One.

The Beginning of the End.

Once we realize that we can rely on God's Love we can let go of our fear and open our hearts.

All the violence and evil in our world is based on fear.

Fear of poverty, fear of suffering, fear of violence, fear of ridicule, fear of losing, fear of being wrong, fear of hell, fear of God.....

But there is no fear in God.

God is Love.

And God's Love is real.

So we can let go of our fear.

And trust in God.

Then it will be the beginning of the end.....

Gay Spirituality.

Gay men spend their lives searching for Him.

He is the great dark man of Quentin Crisp and the all-American boy of Christopher Isherwood.

He is the beautiful musclemen of Michelangelo.

And He is the men of Internet Muscle Worship sites.

The love that we have for Him is often rejected.

It is the ideal - the impossible dream.

But our love is requited by God.

And we discover that God is Him.

The Beloved - the object of our hearts desire.

God returns our love.

He guides and enlightens us.

He answers our prayers.

And we are Home.

I pray for:

My People - the gay people of the world.

My friends - the Hippies and Baby-Boomer Generation.

My Family - my blood relatives and ancestors.

My Brothers - the fraternity of Progressive Christianity.

My Lovers - the beautiful bodybuilders of this world.

My Church - the Uniting Church in Australia.

My God - the One Living God which is Love.

I pray for:

My Country - Australia.

Everyone - all the peoples of the world.

Animals - all God's creatures.

The Earth - all the plants and waters of the Earth.

Amen.

Pope Francis.

When is Pope Francis going to say something about the persecution of gays and lesbians in Poland?

A third of the country has been declared LGBT Free!

And the government and the Church have made inflammatory statements about LGBT ideology. 

Gay rights is not an ideology.

Gay rights are human rights.

And Poland is a Catholic country.

Pope Francis will have to speak out against this blatant Fascism.

Or he will be relegated to the likes of Pope Pius XI who supported Hitler's persecution of the Jews.
