When religious people address controversial issues like homosexuality there is always a backlash of prejudice.
But we should not pander to prejudice.
It should be made clear that prejudice is no basis for spiritual policy-making.
God does not discriminate.
Homosexual love is equivalent to heterosexual love.
God makes no distinction.
So when people respond from a position of prejudice we should not allow them to dominate the debate.
We should make decisions based on Love.
For God is Love.
