The Satanic Bible was written as a negation of the Holy Bible.
And as its author is "'the father of lies'" John 8:44 (NRSV) its readers are mired in darkness.
Those who follow its teachings are therefore the farthest from the light of the truth.
Their beliefs and practices are not to be followed no matter how cleverly disguised they may be.
Darkness hides them.
I would not recommend that anyone read the Satanic Bible.
Satan does not exist in reality.
So the very basis of this book is a falsehood.
Reading such things can only lead you to dark places, places with no truth in them.
It is a book of lies.

I thought the Satanic Bible was written by Anton LaVey--not satan. And LaVey doesn't even believe in a literal satan. Have you read the Satanic Bible?
ReplyDeleteMy post was meant more as a warning against reading such texts than a critique of the book itself. The authorship is figurative not literal.
