What Ronald Reagan actually did was unleash the Beast.
He justified: violence, brutality, lies, racism, homophobia, bigotry, sexism, jingoism, vigilantism, and hate.
And the judgement, damnation, blaming, shaming, shunning, oppression, and hate that he encouraged in the Religious Right with the help of Pope John Paul II was merely the right hand of the Beast.
