When we feel threatened we react with either fight or flight.
And so violence is motivated by fear.
Most people are unaware of this fact.
And therefore we ascribe violence to male aggression.
But this is our survival instinct.
Which we bury deep in our subconscious.
It is not acceptable to our conscious minds.
But it will emerge when we feel threatened.
And so our task is not to counteract violence but to overcome the fear that motivates it.
This can be seen from personal relationships to international relations.
And it drivers all the conflicts in our world.
