Because it is fear that prevents us from loving one another any religious teachings that create fear are counter-productive.
God is Love.
He does not punish us.
He does not judge us.
These things are the product of human fears.
They are not part of God at all.
God does not condemn us.
Neither does He reject us.
These concepts should be removed from religious teachings forever.
Then we will know the Love of God.
