The Church still harbors secret fears about sex.
Ideas of sacrifice and self-denial still linger in the religious sub-culture.
As if God would barter with us.
But in a world where gratification is instant and sex is universal to teach that sex is sinful is a sure sign of defeat.
Sex is a natural part of life.
And it should not be used to bargain with the spirit.
But the Church still clings to tradition.
And the writings of St. Paul.
Better to follow the teaching of Jesus and refuse to condemn sex altogether.
