When Ronald Reagan came to power he set about changing the course of history.
He harnessed the anti-left rebelliousness of Generation X and demonized his political opponents - the left-leaning Hippies and Baby-Boomers.
He coined the term politically correct and labelled any liberal thinking with this slur.
He also sent Satanic rock bands into the U.S.S.R. and enlisted the support of Pope John Paul II to foment rebellion in Poland and Eastern Europe.
In this way he broke the back of Soviet Communism.
Ronald Reagan has subsequently been a hero of many Americans.
But Ronald Reagan used violence and religion to win a political victory that has been of dubious value in any case.
The fact that he won is all that people seem to care about.
But the end does not justify the means.
He brought bullying back into world politics.
And we are still paying the price.
So the legacy of Ronald Reagan is only really lauded by capitalists and conservatives.
The rest of us must do what we're told.
