Rainbows.

You cannot have crystals without rainbows.

Crystals create rainbows.

The spectrum of colors is refracted through the crystals.

The symbol of crystal is prominent in the imagery of New Jerusalem :

"the holy city Jerusalem.....has the glory of God and a radiance like a very rare jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal."  Revelation 21:10,11 (NRSV)

"the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city."  Revelation 22:1,2 (NRSV)

The rainbow represents peace with God - the covenant with Noah after the flood.

The rainbow is also the emblem of the gay community.

It represents diversity, variety, the full spectrum of views.

It is also associated with Aquarius.

Aquarius represents prophecy and astrology, which is the instrument of prophecy.

So the symbolism of crystal and rainbows is linked with positive imagery in the Bible.

It represents peace with God and a new covenant.
