God and Nature.

In the beginning humans mistook nature for God.

Nature is indifferent to human beings.
God is not.

It is a mistake to model our image of God on nature.

Nature is the law of the jungle.

Nature is autonomic, i.e. not consciously controlled by God.

God does not intervene in nature.

God transcends nature.

In the presence of God, "The wolf shall live with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the kid, the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them."  Isaiah 11:6 (NRSV)
"nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."  Micah 4:3b (NRSV)

God is the source of all peace (Islam - the names of God).

God is gentle.

God is sublime.

There is nothing to fear.

God is our Father.

Cry out to God and He will hear.
