Today is Australia Day.
But to Aboriginal people it is Invasion Day.
So perhaps we should scrap January 26 as our national holiday.
Just leave it as Invasion Day.
And start a new day of reconciliation.
The date could be worked out between the First and Second peoples of this country.
And so the friction of January 26 would be replaced by a spirit of goodwill.
