Why do Fundamentalist Christians ally themselves with rich corporations?
The only answer is that it is a political alliance.
Rich corporations are conservative politically because the conservative political parties favor business.
They enforce deregulation of the economy, tax cuts for the rich, and they bust unions.
This suits the corporate plutocrats.
And an alliance with conservative Christians justifies their crimes.
The blessing of the Church whitewashes their corruption.
And money, of course, is always a motivating factor.
So be wary of Churches that preach Prosperity Theology.
They have sold out.
And their theology is bankrupt.
