The age-old battle of the sexes has descended into full-scale war.
Abuse and oppression versus rejection and revenge is a recipe for disaster.
And the cause of this is fear on both sides.
Fear of rejection versus fear of domination.
Fear of sex versus fear of emasculation.
This has led to an escalation of hostilities which has given rise to the present crisis.
The only answer to this is to address the fears on both sides.
The objective should not be suppression or revenge but reconciliation.
And for this to come about there must be equality.
The time has come to look at our fears.
Only then will there be reconciliation.
