Violence, greed, and evil are caused by fear.
Those who grew up in insecure economic times sell out their principles in order to gain financial security.
And they never feel as if they have enough.
So they hoard and accumulate and rationalize their privileges.
They ignore the poor and blame them for their own poverty.
They may resort to violence.
They may even turn to evil and Satan to get what they want.
But fear is at the root of it.
Faith is too risky.
And idealism is for fools.
So if you want to change the world you must look at people's fears.
