Civilization.

An archaeologist who was convinced that war was the stimulus for civilization set out to study ancient cities.

What he discovered, however, was that it was not war that was the nursemaid of civilization but trade.

We could learn a lot from this today.

It is not war that will bring prosperity.

But peace.
