At least individual churches within the Uniting Church in Australia are standing up for marriage equality.
As the leading advocate of social justice in Australia the Uniting Church is the only Church that accepts gays and lesbians as full members and leaders within the Church.
Let's hope that the leadership of the Uniting Church will stand up when it counts and support their gay members.
