No Guilt.

The Church has traditionally imposed guilt.

Guilt for sin.
Usually sexual sin.

So that everyone is constantly looking to appease guilt.

This is very poor motivation.

Jesus says, "'Your sins are forgiven.'"  Matthew 9:5 (NRSV)

He does not invoke guilt.

Even where sexual sins are evident he says, "'Your faith has saved you, go in peace,'"  Luke 7:50 (NRSV)

So we should not feel guilty about sex.

We should feel glad and full of joy.

For sex is a manifestation of love.
