So if God is not like the Church what is He like?
God is wholly benevolent, wholly good, wholly loving.
God epitomises mercy, forgiveness, compassion, and love.
There is no anger, no judgement, no punishment, no vengeance in God.
God is our loving Father.
He will not condemn us.
He redeems even the most heinous sinners.
And He takes us to Himself when we die.
