There are many schools of philosophical thought which have developed throughout history.
From primitive practices of appeasement of the gods, through asceticism, atonement, karma, reincarnation, good works, logical positivism, and enlightenment to modern liberal humanism.
All these philosophies are attempts to make sense of our lives.
And they are not without value.
But it is when we encounter God through unconditional love that we at last see the light.
God is Love.
And life is about finding and embracing love.
We must open our hearts.
Then we will begin to live.
