Jesus said, "'there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.'" Luke 15:7 (NRSV)
This is the love of God for His prodigal sons and daughters.
God does not abandon His wayward children.
He understands them.
He waits for them to change.
He does not punish them.
He treats them well.
In the hope that they will change.
So we wait.
Wait until they see.
See the goodness of God.
And are reconciled.
