Siding with Satan.

Do you make the sign of the horns?

Do you poke your tongue out?

Do you wear your cap backwards?

Or sport the t-shirt of a Satanic rock band?

Then you are siding with the devil.

Whether you realize it or not.

And why would you side with the devil?

Probably to get sex.

Or because you hate God.

And why would you hate God?

Because the life God made is suffering?

But the suffering is caused by Satanism and sin.

So you have backed the wrong horse.

Eunuchs.

The word translated as eunuchs in the Bible referred in ancient Israel to any male who was unmarried.

Jesus said: "'For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.'"  Matthew 19:10 (NRSV)

This is in the context of "'better not to marry'".  Matthew 19:10 (NRSV)

Jesus refers to eunuch made so for the kingdom of heaven.  No one physically castrates themselves for the sake of religion.  So Jesus is obviously using the expression in a figurative sense.

And so these statements may be said to relate to gay men.

It is interesting to note in this context that Jesus says some men are born that way.

This is in keeping with our modern understanding of homosexuality.

But God says they are not excluded or cut off from God but blessed with an everlasting name.

"and do not let the eunuch say.

'I am just a dry tree',

For this says the Lord:

To the eunuchs who keep my sabbaths,

who choose the things that please me

and hold fast my covenant,

I will give in my house and within my walls

a monument and a name

better than sons and daughters;

I will give them an everlasting name

that shall not be cut off."

Conversion Therapy.

Conversion Therapy is motivated by fear.

Fear of homosexuality.

That is: fear of disease and death due to AIDS.

Fear of transgression.

Fear of punishment.

But there is no fear in God.

And so, as the fear of AIDS diminishes, we hope that their fear will decrease and they will abandon their campaigns to convert homosexual people.

This is my prayer.

Heaven.

All religions have a Heaven.

No matter what country or what beliefs there is always a Heaven.

I believe that this is because the same God created all religions.

And it is His Love that creates Heaven.

Gay.

The generation who were teenagers when AIDS hit developed intensely homophobic reactions.

These included punishment, spurning, and damnation.

And it was epitomized by their use of the word gay in a derogatory fashion.

Homosexuality became a scapegoat for evil.

And so it is up to both older and younger generations to help them overcome their fear.

The older generation grew up when homosexuality was acceptable, even glamorous.

And the younger generation have grown up with positive messages about homosexuality and the virtual curing of AIDS. 

So we must impress upon the affected generation that their homophobic ideas are not acceptable.

Only then will we be free.

The Thief.

Black.

"the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil."  John 3:19 (NRSV)

People who wear black love darkness.

For their deeds are evil.

But their evil is buried deep in the unconscious.

They deny it.

And they steal wisdom and love from the good.

They will even set themselves up as agents of good.

But the light will expose them.

And reveal their fear.
