Pizza and Plato.

It was better when we valued the rich cultural heritage brought by our immigrants.

Multiculturalism was a boon to our nation.

Before the post-war wave of immigrants Australia's culture was a rather boring and cold British monoculture.

Immigrants brought valuable diversity and richness to that culture.

More recently Asian immigrants have added to that diversity.

Unfortunately fear of foreigners (xenophobia) has grown in Australia and now refugees, mostly from Muslim countries, are sent to off-shore detention centers for indefinite periods, some are even returned to their countries to face torture and death.

Fear rules our hearts.

It would be better to look at the positive contributions that Islamic culture can bring to our country.

Music, poetry, art, cuisine - all these things are positives that Muslims bring.

There are also problems.

But these problems cannot be solved without dialogue.

Building walls and freezing others out is not the answer.

We should implement dialogues between the cultures in order to understand these differences and find solutions that will last.

Then we can be a truly multicultural society.

Democratic Domination.

We may congratulate ourselves on our enlightened democracies but our freedoms and privileges are maintained by domination.

Huge armies and arsenals of weapons, including nuclear weapons, ensure that the West stays on top.

Anyone who threatens this supremacy is bombed or invaded.

We exploit weaker countries economically.

We impose our monoculture.

And we oppress minorities.

But all of this is hidden beneath a veneer of democratic liberalism which admits no fault.

We are like a psychopath who buries his crimes in his unconscious and presents a facade of goodness and light.

But as the Age of Aquarius dawns we will become more aware of our global responsibilities and many of these issues will have to be addressed.

It is my prayer that this awakening will take place without violence or war.

God Reigns.

I was surprised when a friend of mine said that he constantly reminded himself  that "God reigns."

God Reigns?

Not in this world.

In this world the poor suffer, money talks, and power wins.

God comes last.

Jesus prayed "'Your kingdom come.  Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.'"  Matthew 6:10 (NRSV)

So Jesus did not think that God reigned on earth.

Perhaps my friend meant that God reigns in the universe - overall.

But we cannot control everything with our thoughts.

""What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.'"  Luke 18:27 (NRSV)

"The Lord helps me.....he who vindicates me is near, Who will contend with me?"  Isaiah 50:7,8 (NRSV)

If God is with you there is nothing evil can do to win.

But God does not use force or violence.

"'Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.'"  Zechariah 4:6b (NRSV)

God is full of surprises.

He is unpredictable.

He is uncontrollable.

Blessed be the Lord God.

Addicts.

What is needed by addicts is love.

If we were able to wrap them in a blanket of love the need for the drug would disappear.

Drug taking is basically anaesthetic.
A hit to kill the pain of the world.

But if we can surround them with love then we have removed the cause.

And they will be cured.

Escape.

So how can we escape the web of evil created by rock stars and celebrities?

First of all we must stop listening to rock music altogether.

All rock bands and pop stars are involved in this Satanic conspiracy.
Even if the music seems benign and sugary on the surface there may be Satanic symbolism and suggestion hidden below.

Most of this is done below the surface on the unconscious level.
So it may not be evident on the surface.

We cannot afford to just take things at face value.

As a remedy we can listen to classical music - especially sacred choral music - which creates a more harmonious state of mind.

Secondly we must be discriminating in what we watch - on T.V., in movies, even in sports - all these things contain Satanic influences.

Watch for flames (hell), skulls (death), funerals, black, darkness, night, madness, depression, suicide, horns (the devil), spiders (webs), snakes, idols etc.....

All these things betray the Satanic nature of the entertainment.

And that's not all.

They will try to get money out of you by addicting you to their product.

Addict, fiend, beast, monster, animal, punisher, dominator, filthy, wicked, lust.....

All these things seek to addict you.

Even violent and evil words and comments by sporting commentators and stars will tell you how they think.

Instead contemplation of religious or beautiful artistic images and poetry will lead your mind away from such disturbing influences and towards harmony and peace.

You might even read the Bible with discrimination.

Sitting quietly in the garden listening only to the song of the birds may help you find peace.

These alternative practices will help you to escape the web of evil which permeates our multi-media network.

Solitude, quiet, silence, prayer.

All these things lead to God.

Go into your room and close the door.

Pray to God.

He will hear.

And He will deliver you.

June 6 1966 - the day that it all changed.

The day that we were betrayed.

The day that rock music died.

The day that the Baby-Boomers became the Hippies.

Before then the Baby-Boomers dressed reasonable conventionally and had fairly normal haircuts.

Afterwards long hair and long beards became the norm and bright costumes with flared trousers appeared.

This was a response to L.S.D..

It was psychedelic.

But unknown to us was the fact that the rock bands who pushed this onto us were followers of Aleister Crowley who was a Satanist.

Little did we know that Satanists used psychedelic drugs in their ceremonies.

Many Hippies had bad trips.
This was when the drug backfired and created a nightmare instead of a vision.

The Satanic influence of rock music could explain this.

Many rock bands created music which contained Satanic suggestion.
And it was used to invoke the devil.

The violent and evil backtracking on these albums could easily turn your dream into a nightmare.

And that's not all.

Everyone began smoking marijuana.

Everyone became sexually promiscuous.

Everyone left the Church.

But this was not the fairytale that we thought it was.

It soon became evident that something was wrong.

But no one knew what it was.

We presumed it was the drugs.

But in fact it was the evil influence emanating from the rock music we were listening to.

Drug addiction, degradation, divorce, criminality, depression, suicide.....

All these things resulted.

A tree is known by its fruit.

And these are the fruits of rock music.

Only worse was to follow.

But we cannot escape this web of evil until we realize that our precious rock legends were not the heroes we thought they were.

They were secretly Satanic - they sold their souls for fame and fortune - and they sold us down the river.

This is still happening today.

And it has spread to T.V., movies, sports, and literature.....

We are cursed.

We have all been betrayed.

Christianity for Baby-Boomers.

The Baby-Boomer Generation was betrayed by their rock stars and turned into the hedonistic Hippies.

But the ideals of the Baby-Boomers are ideally suited to Progressive Christianity.

If only the authorities of the Christian Churches had been ready they could have developed a style of Christianity that was not only acceptable to Baby-Boomers but was a refined quintessence of Jesus' teachings.

This is peace and love.

Jesus is the epitome of peace and love.

He is the Prince of Peace.

And his commandment is to love.

Non-violent non-cooperation is the essence of Jesus' action.

To love even your enemies and forgive those who abuse you is characteristic of Jesus' teaching.

But the Church was bound up with the establishment and conservative politics.

With the result that their manipulative doctrines were rejected.

Now we are beginning to develop Progressive Christian theology and doctrines which are compatible with Baby-Boomer ideals.

But the bird has flown.

The fertile ground of peace and love and non-violent non-cooperation has been betrayed and reconstructed.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll has ruined the Baby-Boomers and the conservative establishment has reconstructed them.

Now they watch and buy and enjoy expensive holidays.
Now they follow.

And the opportunity has been lost.
