Jesus.

I believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

And I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead after his crucifixion to be at the right hand of God the Father.

But I do not believe that Jesus was God incarnate.

I believe that Jesus was a man like any other who studied the scriptures and prayed earnestly to God.

And so God adopted him as His son.

Jesus was the Chosen One.

His revelations are unique.

And his death was a tragedy.

And so I do not believe in the Virgin Birth.

Nor do I believe in the Second Coming.

Jesus refused to judge people in life so why would he judge us at some point in the future?

These things have been added to Jesus' name by earthly authorities after Jesus' death.

Jesus did not speak of judgement.

Neither did he speak of punishment or anger.

Jesus showed us a God who is a loving Father.

A God who is merciful, forgiving, and gracious.

But most of all Jesus told us of God's Love.

Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is the most maligned person in history.

She is the constant target of vitriolic hate.

And yet she has done nothing wrong.

Her record is impeccable.

She avows a Christian faith.

And she is a woman of principle.

But right-wing political factions hate her.

To them she is the epitome of the Liberal threat.

What they fear most.

And they conduct hate campaigns against her in their media.

But hate is contagious.

People hate Hillary Clinton and they don't even know why.

So be aware that we are being inundated with hate.

And pray to God to deliver us from evil.

The Light.

Honesty, integrity, truthfulness, generosity, justice, charity, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, and love.....

These are the words that come with the Light.

They elevate the debate.

And they revive our high ideals.

QAnon.

Nothing prepared us for the shocking lies put out by QAnon.

The outrageous allegations and the violent reactions that they inspired were unprecedented.

To call for political executions and assassinations is not acceptable in a Democracy.

And the fact that these calls were based on blatant lies only makes it worse.

The time has come to reassert the truth.

And to call out QAnon and its Republican supporters.

The right-wing political machine has turned to evil.

They have forfeited all credibility.

And the news networks that support them are morally bankrupt.

We demand the truth at last.

What happened with the Q conspiracy is that because the rock stars of the 1960s and 1970s were involved in Satanism all left-wing Liberalism was labelled Satanic.

This is blatant conflation.

Liberalism is not Satanism. 

And Socialism is not Communism.

Satanism is mostly right-wing Neo-Nazism.

The hedonism encouraged by Satanic rock bands  has been confused with modern Liberalism.

This has been done deliberately to justify hate and violence against left-wing politicians and their supporters.

But it is not the Hippies and Baby-Boomers, nor is it the left-wing politicians, who are Satanic it is the rock stars and celebrities who betrayed them.   

Satanism is mostly right-wing Neo-Nazism.

And it is part of the Q conspiracy.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is so hated by the right-wing political factions that her life is in danger.

She has been painted as a dangerous left-wing extremist.

And Republicans openly threatened her life.

This kind of violent intimidation is unacceptable in a Democracy.

Politicians should not have to fear for their lives in the Congress.

There is nothing wrong with AOC.

She represents a large proportion of the American public.

And she should not be subjected to threats of violence and hate.

Gay.

Fundamentalist Christians maintain that gay men and lesbians will burn in hell.

I dispute that belief.

I am a Christian - a full member of the Uniting Church in Australia - and in my experience God does not discriminate.

There is no fire!

God loves us like His gay sons and daughters.

But firmly held beliefs are hard to change.

And many Church people still cling to these beliefs.

So it is my responsibility as a gay Christian to speak out against homophobia and prejudice in God's Church.

And to assure gay people that they will go to Heaven!
