Betrayed!

The rock legends of the 1960s and 1970s were covert Satanists.

The hedonism and excess inspired by their music was intended to induce death. 

This is death to God as described by St. Paul.

"For the wages of sin is death."  Roman 6:23 (NRSV)

And "the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil."  Hebrews 2:14 (NRSV)

This is the basis of black magic and Satanism.

And you will find it in their music.

But we are innocent.

We were betrayed!

And God will forgive any excess or error which resulted.

But we cannot continue to listen to their curses. 

This diabolical influence persists to this day in modern rock music. 

Sex and drugs and rock and roll is not the solution that it seems to be.

It is poison.

And it is evil.

Hearts of Flesh.

"I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."  Ezekiel 36:26 (NRSV)

Ultimately those religious people who condemn homosexuals are ruled by fear.

Fear of punishment, fear of judgement, fear of God.

But if we think of gays and lesbians as my gay son, my gay daughter, my gay dad, my gay sister.....then our love may override our fear and we may see that God loves His gay sons and daughters as He loves us.

They are like our own flesh and blood.

If we pray about these things God will answer.

And we can tell the world that the Love of God is for everyone.

Then the persecution will stop and the torment will end.

Hearts of Stone.

Those who have hearts of stone are in fact imprisoned within ramparts of fear.

They feel so threatened and insecure that they hide their love within a fortress of stone.

But this is unconscious.

It is the result of attacks and bullying that they experienced in their childhood when their actions and reactions were not consciously controlled.

But God takes away our fear.

His steadfast Love reassures us and comforts us.

God is trustworthy and reliable.

He restores our souls.

And He opens our hearts.

Prejudice.

Prejudice is to pre-judge.

i.e. A preconceived opinion not based on reason or actual experience (Online Dictionary).

And prejudice is the basis of the generational war.

Ronald Reagan told Generation X that the Baby-Boomers were "unconscious agents of Satan".

And they used this to prejudge them en masse.

Thus they were able to project their guilt onto the Hippies and claim goodness by default.

This is despite the fact that they called themselves bad and many of them had turned to the devil to win.

But Satan's propaganda is backwards.

The Hippies and Baby-Boomers were innocent.

The fact that their rock stars turned to Satan does not mean that they were evil themselves.

And Judgement is not Biblical in any case.

Jesus said: "Do not judge, and you will not be judged."  Luke 6:37 (NRSV)

This is the basis of scapegoating.

Hitler said that embracing the scapegoat created "moral ease" for the majority.

And this is what they have done.

The German word Shadenfreude means to delight in the misfortunes of others.   

And this evil allowed them to torture those who were cast as the scapegoat.

And this can be seen in our modern world.

Generation X delighted in the demise of the Baby-Boomers and took pleasure in torturing them.

And this is the result of their irrational hate and blame of their parent who they see as the architects of our evil world.

But prejudice has its roots in fear.

Fear of poverty, fear of immorality, fear of punishment.

It is hidden by hypocrisy and psychological dishonesty.

This is modern Fascism.

And it is time for it to end.

(NB: This scapegoating practice also applies to gays and lesbians who are seen as immoral and evil minions of the devil as cast by the Religious Right.)

Open Your Heart!

We are born with open hearts.

As tiny children we love freely.

But life teaches us to fear.

And fear buries the heart and builds ramparts around it to protect it.

And so we lose touch with our hearts and the Divine Spark that is within them.

We identify with our defenses - our mask, our facade.

Spiritual development is about dismantling these defenses.

And as such we must overcome our fears.

"You must unlearn what you have learnt." (Yoda)

And reconnect with the your soul which is in your heart.

Only then  can we open our hearts!

The Right and The Left.

In Matthew 25 we see the Judgement of the right and the left.

My thesis is that those on the right are honored and blessed but those on the left are not condemned but forgiven and redeemed.

God punishes no one.

His mercy extends even to those we call evil.

So we should not condemn people because we think that they are on the left - we may be contradicting the Love of God.

The Last Nail.

The last nail in the coffin was the Trump aligned QAnon conspiracy.

This toxic influence pedals lies and hate against left-wing politicians and homosexuals.

It is associated with Neo-Nazis and Evangelical Christians.

And it was largely responsible for the attack on the Capitol building on January 6th 2021.

The fact that Trump and prominent Republicans supported the insurrectionists has outraged Americans and led to people deserting the G.O.P. en masse.

They went too far.

And it backfired.

Now the Democrats have bipartisan support for their policies and the insurgents are being investigated and charged by the F.B.I. and the C.I.A..

So now we have come full circle.

But there is one major difference - the non-violent Hippies and Baby-Boomers were innocent - but the violent QAnon conspirators are not.

It's the difference between love and hate.
