Duplicity.

You can't have it both ways.

You can't have one foot in God's camp and the other foot in the devil's camp.

This is unfaithfulness and duplicity.

God can see.

God is not pragmatic.

God does not compromise. 

God is wholly Good.

And He expects us to be good also.

Corruption.

With economic deregulation and exclusive materialism has come widespread corruption.

For forty years we have turned a blind eye to criminal practices in the corporate world and beyond.

With the result that corruption is now accepted as the norm.

But in Australia with the election of a Labor government and the rise of independents (who campaigned on a platform of integrity) things are about to change.

An Anti-Corruption Commission is proposed.

And those responsible will be held to account.

Corruption is unacceptable.

We should not just turn a blind eye to it.

Those in positions of responsibility should be expected to act honorably.

Honesty is not a privilege.

It is an entitlement.

Taylor Swift's new album Midnights is the perfect example of the subtle sabotage hidden in rock music.

Midnight is the depth of darkness.

Anti-Hero, Sweet Nothing, and Snow on the Beach are negations.

And Lavender Haze and Labyrinth hark back to former Satanic creations.

So be aware that you are being poisoned.

And why?

For fame and fortune.

For adulation.

For fans.

Be warned!

The Great Illusion.

The Svetasvatara Upanishad calls the Great Illusion: "the taking of the One for two."

This refers to the illusions of Dualism.

But God transcends our notions of Dualism.

God is One.

God is all Light, all Life. and all Love.

God is all Good.

And God is all Merciful, and all Forgiving.

Bad is bad.

Black is black.

"I'm no angel" is no angel.

"Pure evil" is pure evil.

Delinquent is delinquent.

Generation X by their own words are an evil generation.

They are violent, abusive, racist, homophobic, and hypocritical.

They are fascinated with the dark side.

They lie, cheat, and steal.

They are materialistic, shallow, and negative.

They hate.

And they blaspheme.

They are obsessed with power.

But their power is evil.

God's Forgiveness.

You cannot take advantage of God's Forgiveness by denying what you have done.

You cannot be forgiven for something that you won't admit to.

And you cannot hide your actions from God.

God sees everything.

And He knows your mind.

You cannot lie to God.

And you cannot cheat.

God's Mercy.

You cannot take advantage of God's Mercy in order to get off the hook and continue to behave badly.

You cannot be bad. 

You cannot be violent and hateful.

You cannot lie.

You cannot cheat.

You cannot steal.

God is Good.

And he requires us to be good.

Which involves basic honesty, charity, and non-violence.

You cannot have it both ways.

My Father's Business.

When Jesus was twelve years old and was found in the Temple debating with the teachers he said to his parents: "I must be about my Father's business."  (KJV)

"My Father's business" was the interpretation and implementation of scripture.

And it is like this today.

I must be about my Father's business.

Prayer.

Prayer is direct communication with God.

We can contact God independently through prayer.

But do not expect God to do everything you ask.

God cannot be manipulated.

He acts in His own way, according to His Higher Wisdom.

Sometimes He is silent.

Sometimes we must wait.

Julian of Norwich said that if God does not appear to be answering our prayers it is because He is waiting for a better time and a greater gift.

So continue to pray and have faith that God will answer your prayers in time.

The Answer.

It is one thing to have the correct answer.

It is another thing to have the real answer.

Orthodoxy is academically correct.

It is a big tick.

But the real answer comes from direct experience.

Orthodoxy talks of sin and death.

It has to do with judgement and punishment.

But in reality the answer is simple:

Love.

God's Will.

Conservative Muslim and Christian governments think that they are upholding God's Law by banning LGBT+ rights, abortion, and black history.

They label Liberalism and Socialism as the work of the devil.

And they justify violence and murder in the name of God.

They then claim that this is religious freedom.

But you cannot justify violence and murder in the name of freedom.

Neither can you deny peoples' rights in pursuit of your own rights.

God is not a tyrant.

God is our loving Father.

It is God's Will that we love one another.

And it is God's Will that justice be done.

But persecution is not love.

And violence is not justice.

There is a limit to what is allowable.

And that is causing harm to others.

This is God's Will.

Return.

With the virtual curing of AIDS comes a return of equality for gay men and women.

Religious objections are no longer valid.

God cannot be said to be punishing us.

Gay sex is safe and harmless.

And the younger generation are not infected with the same fear.

Gay men and women are equal to straight men and women.

God does not discriminate.

We will return to our place of equality on Earth.

And we will enter Heaven when we die.

Backwards.

The 1980s saw "devils in heaven" and "hippies in hell".

This is backwards.

The result of Satan-worship in Generation X.

With the blessing of John Paul II and the Religious Right.

This is taking evil for good and good for evil.

It is propaganda and hate.

It relies on prejudice and ignorance.

And it is evil.

Idolatry.

The Evangelical insistence on accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior is a form of idolatry.

They make an idol of Jesus.

While ignoring the teachings of Jesus they insist on deference to the person of Jesus as God Himself.

This makes an absolute of Christ.

Which gives them absolute power.

And absolute power corrupts absolutely.

On the mountain God says: "'This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him.'"  Luke 9:35 (NRSV)

Listen to Him.

Not worship him.

Not follow him.

But listen to him.

The Dream.

We all have a dream.

A dream of finding love.

And living our lives with our beloved.

But when this dream is shattered or betrayed we develop a death-wish.

For life is not worth living without love.

There is no purpose.

And there is no hope.

But there is hope in God.

For God is love.

And in God we will find our Beloved.

Generation X, under the leadership of Ronald Reagan, like to condemn the Hippies for the apostasy of their rock stars.

But the rock stars of their own generation, and those who follow, are just as bad, if not worse.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll ruined the Hippie generation.

But Generation X were infected with violence, hate, and evil.

Which is worse?

So you cannot condemn our generation for hedonism when your own generation is evil.

In their own words they are pure evil.

And history will condemn them.
