Join the Union.

In 1984 we told them:

"Don't abandon the unions or you will be exploited by your employers."

They ignored us.

And what happened?

Workers have lost: overtime, penalty rates, sick leave, holiday pay, full-time employment, and job security.

Wages have been forced down.

And workers have no voice.

So what I say to young people who are joining the workforce is this:

"Join the union."

One.

When Jesus says he is one with God and prays for his followers to be one also.....

He is not talking about theological uniformity.

What he means is that he is one with the unconditional love and forgiveness of God.

And he wishes for his followers to be one with that love also.

Not What They Seem.

Rock stars are not what they seem.

They present themselves as saviors and messiahs, dogs and divas.

They steal wisdom and they push lies.

But in reality they are devotees of Satan.

They sell their souls and do evil in the world.

On closer inspection you will find evil hidden in their music and videos.

But this is cleverly disguised as popular culture and entertainment.

Darkness, sin, negativity, anti-religion, the devil, and death pervade their music.

And hellfire drives them on.

'He who deceives the whole world' is their master.

Their image and their reputation are lies.

We are all deceived and we are all betrayed.

Winners and Losers.

Because God is on the side of the losers of this world does not mean that adherence to God will guarantee failure.

Just as siding with Satan will not guarantee success.

God abides with the least and the last out of compassion.

He does not, however, reward selfishness.

Success in our world results from talent and hard work.

It is not the result of rewards from God or the devil.

There are successful sportsmen and artists in this world who are religious.

And there are successful people who are evil.

Those who are disadvantaged or dominated by others are not to blame for their misfortune.

God takes pity on them.

And He answers their cries for help.

The Soul.

Our soul is the Divine Spark within us.

Deeper than the body with its needs.

Deeper than the mind with its wandering thoughts.

Deeper even than the breath that enlivens us.

Deeper still is the heart.

And it is within our heart that the soul dwells.

It is the source of love.

And that love is infinite.

Closer to us than feeling, thought, or breath.

Closer even than our spirit.

One with all life.

It is immortal.

And it is eternal.

Upholding God.

Upholding God does not necessarily mean upholding the Church.

Neither does it mean upholding the concepts of Satanism which derive from Orthodox Christianity.

Upholding God means a commitment to the unconditional love and forgiveness of God.

God is not judgemental or punitive.

God is Love.

And a commitment to that Love brings joy and peace.

Guilt.

Jesus said: "'If you were blind, you would not have sin.  But now that you say, "We see" your sin remains.'" John 9:41 (NRSV)

The Baby-Boomers do not believe that their rock legends were Satanists - they are blind.

And they did not turn to Satan themselves.

Therefore they are not guilty.

Generation X say that they know the rock legends of the 1960s and 1970s were in league with the devil as Ronald Reagan had told them.

But many of them turned to the devil in any case.

They acted knowingly - they say: "We see".

Therefore their guilt remains.

1984/2024.

In 1984 we were told that all regulation of the economy was evil.

We were told that Socialism was bad and greed was good.

We were told that Social Welfare was dole-bludging and unions were useless.

We were told that Government was the problem and tax was terrible.

We were told that Climate Change was a hoax.

We were told that Liberation Theology was Marxism and Liberalism was Satanism.

We were told that all gays were demonic and the devil himself was gay.

We were told that Right was right and Left was evil.

And if you disagree you're fired!

For forty years we have been in the wilderness with no power and no voice.

But the tide is turning.

A new generation is rising.

A generation who are politically aware.

A generation that will not be deceived.

And by 2024 my generation will be retired.

We will no longer be captive to corporate domination.

And so the Age of Aquarius will begin.

Trust.

In J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarilion the good god Manwe does not understand the evil Melkor and is consequently too trusting.

And Melkor does not understand Manwe's goodness.

This is true in our world today where good people do not understand that there are evil people at work and are therefore too trusting.

And evil people do not understand goodness, mercy, and love.

Conspiracy.

There is a global conspiracy involving corporations, right-wing politicians, media-moguls, movie makers, sports leagues, and social media.

It is a conspiracy to rule the world by controlling people's thinking.

They use techniques from George Orwell's 1984, propaganda methods used by Joseph Goebbels and Hitler's Nazi Party, black magic and Satanic practices borrowed from rock music, and illegal subliminal advertising techniques.

It works mostly through the collective unconscious so people are unaware of its effects.

But it has a powerful influence.

It sows hate and fear.

It uses violence and force.

It invokes threats and intimidation.

And it is dark and menacing.

It is planned in secret, and coordinated in practice.

It is criminal and it is evil.

Reagan.

Ronald Reagan's allies were the rich and powerful:

Corporate plutocrats, Hollywood movie bosses, media-moguls, and the leaders of the Religious Right.

But these are the modern versions of the Romans and the religious authorities who crucifies Jesus.

Reagan's campaign was not a religious crusade but a political vendetta.

And his patronage of Generation X inspired hatred and violence against his political enemies.

Reagan was not a hero.

Reagan was a villain hellbent on revenge.

Fear.

Contrary to popular belief the reason for the rigid conservatism of many church-going people is not fear of hell but fear of poverty.

They are so afraid of losing their money that they embrace religious conservatism because the conservative political parties favor the wealthy.

And they claim that this is God's Will.

This harks back to the Divine Right of Kings and the blue-ribbon born-to-rule mentality of the aristocracy.

And it is a form of Prosperity Theology.

Prosperity Theology claims that wealth and success are signs of God's favor and that poverty and disease are punishments from God for sin.

But this is aberrant theology.

The Gospel is supposed to be good news for the poor, not vindication for the rich.

But their fear is so great that they modify their mentality and force their views onto others.

This is part of the reason for the decline of the Church.

Christianity is not political conservatism.

Christianity is about justice, compassion, and love.

And until the Church realizes this it will continue to decline.

Moderation.

In life we experience pleasure and suffering.

We desire pleasure.

And we fear suffering.

Fear of suffering makes us look for a pattern that may ensure that we avoid suffering.

Thus we look for rules.

Thinking that rules govern the universe.

Rules that entail rewards and punishments.

Thinking that this is the nature of God.

But there is no fear in God.

God does not punish pleasure and reward sacrifice.

Our rigid adherence to rules is inspired by fear.

The Buddha said that moderation was the answer to pleasure, not abstinence.

Jesus said: "'For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, "He has a demon", the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, "Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners."'"  Luke 7:34 (NRSV)

But Jesus was the Messiah, not John the Baptist.

So it is evident that the way of moderation is superior to the way of Asceticism.

It is not possible to eradicate all pleasure from life.

And those who try are merely repressing their desires which come out as perversions and lies.

So moderation is the answer.

The sole pursuit of pleasure does not bring happiness.

Only love brings happiness.

And God is Love.

Death.

Rock music seeks to entice you to sin.

And they believe that sin will lead to a spiritual death - death to God.

Hence they wear black.

Black represents: death, darkness, sin, hate, and evil.

And when you wear black you are accepting your sentence of death.

They hate God.

And they hate God's Church.

They turn you away from God.

And they damn your soul to hell.

So don't listen to rock music.

It is sin and darkness and death.

Hidden Satanism.

"There are none so blind as those who will not see."

The bane of our world is the curse of hidden Satanism.

Rock music, entertainment, literature, and sports are riddled with hidden Satanism.

Darkness, death, night, bad, the devil, spiders, snakes, monsters, evil, the beast.....

All these things dominate our popular culture.

And they induce a blindness which is almost universal.

But we are in denial.

We don't believe in a literal devil.

But that does not mean that others do not.

There are many people in our world who believe the devil is real.

They sell their souls for fame and fortune and a rock star reception.

And they believe that the devil can give them what they want.

So be more discerning in your listening and watching.

Black Satanism is hidden in the darkness.

Good News.

The Good News is that all the fear, and all the guilt, and all the negativity and intimidation that has been imposed by the Church is a lie.

God does not judge us and God does not punish us.

God is our all loving Father.

His Mercy and Forgiveness are infinite.

And His Love is forever.

So do not listen to those who tell you that God condemns us.

He does not.

God loves us.

We are His beloved children.

Picket Fences.

Picket fences, Madonna, boxer shorts, Back to the Future, Deb Balls.....

These are the icons of Generation X.

They represent a reactionary conservatism which embraces materialism.

But Generation X also embraces the devil.

Transgression, desecration art, blasphemy, dancing with the devil, taking the devil's advice, devils in heaven, the Devil Inside.....

All these things derive from Generation X.

And they combine this with a hypocritical moralizing which has to be seen to be believed.

As Christians they are judgemental, violent, hateful, and abusive.

They are racist.

And they are holier than thou.

So don't believe their propaganda.

They are ignorant.

And they are evil.

Persecution.

The story of Saul's conversion is an example of how religious fervor can be misdirected fueled by misguided ideas.

Saul was a leader of the Jewish persecution of the early Christians.

He presided over the stoning of St. Stephen.

But on the Damascus Road Jesus appeared to him in a light from Heaven and said to him: "'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?'"  Acts 9:4 (NRSV)

Saul was struck blind and his sight was only restored when the Christian Ananais laid hands upon him.

Saul became the Apostle Paul.

A modern example of the misdirection of religious fervor is the persecution of gays and lesbians by Christians who believe that God hates us.

My prayer is that they have a Damascus Road experience that changes their hate into love and restores gays and lesbians to their rightful place in the Church and society.

God loves gays and lesbians as we are.

He does not seek to change us or correct us.

He loves us as He loves others.

We are included in His Kingdom.

And we will be welcomed in Heaven when we die.
