Stronger than the Devil.

Anti-Christian men and women seem to think that the devil is some sort of musclebound tough guy.

But God is stronger than the devil.

God is Almighty.

That does not mean, however, that God is some sort of fascist dictator.

God is merciful.

God is forgiving.

God is all good.

God is love.

And His Love is stronger than hate.

God Knows.

You can't be bad and claim favor from God.

You can't say "I'm no Angel" and claim God's blessing.

You can't be pure evil and claim to be good.

And you can't deny the evil you have done and be forgiven. 

You can't just get off the hook.

And you can't lie to God.

You may deceive men and women for a time but you won't deceive God.

You are freeloaders and cheats.

You are takers and thieves.

Unless you change you cannot experience the mercy and grace of God.

God knows your hearts.

And He knows that you are devils.

The Light.

The Light illuminates both evil and good.

It shows us the hidden evil which afflicts us all.

The lies and illusions which divert us and betray us.

It also shows the good.

But most of all it shows the overwhelming goodness of God.

Judgement 2:

Why does the Church say that Jesus will return to judge everyone?

Jesus said: "'You judge by human standards; I judge no one.'"  John 8:15 (NRSV)

And: "'The Father judges no one.'"  John 5:22 (NRSV)

Jesus' constant refrain was: "'"Your sins are forgiven."'"  Mark 2:9 (NRSV)

So why does the Church teach that Jesus will judge us?

Jesus also said: "'Righteous Father, the world does not know you,'"  John 17:25 (NRSV)

By this perhaps he meant that the teaching that God will judge us and punish us is not the truth about God.

Jesus taught that God is our loving Father.

So why does the Church teach that God will judge us?

Perhaps it is more about earthly power than God.

The Church has become part of the worldly authorities.

And they have adopted the ruling elites' carrot and stick approach to the masses.

But this teaching has been handed down from generation to generation as tradition.

And perhaps its origin is in fear.

The Bible teaches fear of God.

But God says:  "Fear not!"

Spirituality.

The opposite of spiritual is not physical.

The opposite of spiritual is worldly.

The Gospels make a distinction between the ways of the world which Jesus calls evil and the ways of God which are set out in the Beatitudes.

So avarice, ambition, greed, pride, tyranny, domination, oppression, exploitation, violence, and materialism are worldly evils.

They bring harm to others. 

And they do not lead to happiness.

They are temptations.

And they are to be avoided.

God's spiritual qualities are: contentment, humility, non-violence, equality, honesty, truthfulness, mercy, forgiveness, and love.

These are the foundations of goodness.

And they lead to peace and joy.

Judgement.

The Religious Right used Judgement to damn Hippies and Gays and win a political victory.

In 1984 Ronald Reagan said: "Christianity contains unconventional weapons."

One of these weapons was Judgement.

As the Millennium approached Reagan took advantage of Christian expectations to induce his Last Judgement. 

This was intended to damn all left-wing thinking forever.

But the fact remains that Judgement is not their decision.

Jesus said: "'Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.'"  Matthew 7:1 (NRSV)

And: "'The Father judges no one.'"  John 5:22 (NRSV)

They were tempted.

And they succumbed.

But their hate will not win out in the end.

God's mercy will prevail.

And His Love will stand.

Corruption.

Generation X is anti-God and anti-good.

This is why they hate the Hippies and Baby-Boomers.

But their evil is whitewashed by corrupt right-wing Christians.

"Ah, you who call evil good and good evil."  Isaiah 5:20 (NRSV)

Capitalist Christians worship money and power.

That's why their allies are corporate plutocrats.

Men and women who put money and power before people and principle.

It is they who are destroying our planet.

And it is they who profit from exploitation and slave labor.

They try to force everyone to conform to their evil philosophy.

And Generation X are their most favored nation.

Evil.

What people don't realize is that there is an evil element in our society which uses the mass-media to spread malice and deception.

Rock music, sports, and entertainment are vehicles for Satanic propaganda and lies.

It seduces you and curses you.

It deceives you and betrays you.

They sell you into a life of drugs and degradation.

They poison your mind and they corrupt you virtues.

They sabotage your spiritual quest.

And they try to kill you.

So be aware that there is evil in the popular culture.

And pray to God to enlighten you.

Moral Ease.

Embracing a scapegoat creates what Hitler called Moral Ease for the majority.

And so the majority feel comfortable with their racism, their homophobia, their hate, and their political bias.

They feel justified in their prejudice.

But this is to perpetuate suffering.

If you heap all your evil onto gays and lesbians, or the Hippie Generation, you will feel righteous in your moral turpitude.

If only right-wing Christians obeyed their own Laws.

But they justify their corruption in the name of freedom.

This does not make them right however.

These things remain transgressions against the Law of Love.

And as such they are offenses against God.

The Way Home.

The way Home is through your heart.

If we give love with a compassionate heart we are partaking of the Divine Nature which is Love.

So love God and love your neighbor.

Then you will be Home.

The Reality.

Our image of God is not just an alternative opinion.

There is a Reality.

And that is that God is Love.

God is our loving Father.

He does not punish us.

He does not judge us.

And all are His children.

Claims that God is violent and vengeful are not in line with the facts.

Violence, judgement, and hate are not part of God at all.

These things are human traits which we project onto God.

The traditional doctrines of the Church have grown up around fear and ignorance.

They do not reflect the Reality.

Face Facts.

If you don't face facts there will be consequences.

It's all very well to say: "We have faith, we don't need facts."

Or: "We believe the Bible, we don't believe science."

But if you don't face facts there will be consequences.

The truth is not relative.

There are facts.

And if you don't face facts there will be consequences.

As the Morrison government in Australia has discovered.

They ignored warnings. They ignored advice.

They chose a path which was not in line with the facts.

And now we are facing the consequences.

Denial.

We are all in denial.

Why was Angels in America all about angels?

Why did they make a movie of Lord of the Rings?

It was because the 1980s saw a flood of devils, violence, and evil.

This inundation, which was generated by Generation X, was the darkest, most evil deluge in history.

And so we needed an antidote.

And that came in the form of angels and fairies and a battle of good versus evil.

A battle that good won!

But the legacy of evil lingers on as: bad, darkness, black, and death.....

And their politics of money, power, and materialism.

But a new generation is rising.

A generation that is politically aware and politically active.

Gone is the rebellion against good and God.

Gone is the fascist reactionary violence.

Gone is the fundamentalist religious hypocrisy.

The way forward is through truth and honesty.

A philosophy of non-violence and charity.

The future will be full of hope,

And the past will be gone forever.

Forgiveness.

Aquarius is a human sign.

And so we are not expected to be perfect.

It is inevitable that we will make mistakes.

We are not fully enlightened at birth.

We learn by our mistakes.

And our mistakes will be forgiven.

And the greater mistakes will be forgiven also.

God punishes no one.

God's forgiveness is for everyone.

For all are God's children.

And so to become fully human is our aim.

And to pray for those who have not yet realized God's Love.

Love.

The problems of our world can seem daunting.

The answer is simple:

Love.

But to do this we must deconstruct the battlements of fear that imprison our hearts.

Only then will we be able to love.

Universal Concepts.

Aquarius is universal.

Therefore it deals with concepts.

It does not deal with specific deities or doctrines.

At the heart of all religions is God's Love.

All religions relate to Light.

And all religions engender Life.

These three great concepts are embraced by all religions.

And their derivatives describe the Reality.

God is One.

There is no cosmic dualism.

All dualism is of human origin.

It has no basis in reality.

But this does not mean that there is no evil in our world.

Evil exists as a rebellion against God and good.

It is a product of fear and ignorance.

And it is operative in our world.

But it is not supernatural.

It is of human origin.

And therefore it should be addressed on a human level.

It is physical not metaphysical.

But be aware that God is all good.

And His Love is universal.

Evil.

Liberals tend not to believe that there is evil in our world.

Because they don't believe in the devil they assume that there can be no devil-worshippers.

But there are!

And they do evil in our world.

Some people blame God for their suffering.

They assume that God has made things the way they are and that this makes us suffer.

So they hate God. 

And they hate His Church for banning sex and pleasure.

They turn to the devil who they think has everything they want.

"He's better the devil you know."  

And they wage war against good and God.

So be aware that music and entertainment may contain elements which are harmful:

Poison, curses, deception, lies.....

Darkness, death, skulls, snakes.....

They lure you into their web like a spider.

And there you will suffer.

So don't entertain their evil.

Turn to the Light.

Choose Life.

And find Love.

Millennials.

Millennials are those born around the Millennium - 1996-2010.

How can we protect them from the evil that awaits them?

Only by warning them.

Evil forces in rock music and entertainment ruined a whole generation with drugs and promiscuity.

And they are trying to do it again.

They push drugs, encourage promiscuity, and sell suicide.

Have you noticed the number of movies which reference youth suicide?

This is death.

And death is the result of addiction and vice.

So avoid any rock music which pushes death.

Do not watch movies about suicide.

And pray to God to deliver you from evil.

Freedoms and Responsibilities.

Absolute freedom is not a good thing.

Freedom to kill and rape.

Freedom to use violence and force.

Freedom to oppress and dominate others.

These things are not good.

And we should not defend them in the name of freedom.

Likewise rigid Legalism is not a good thing.

Enforcing rules that are not based in reason.

Infringing on people's inalienable rights.

Forcing people to conform out of fear.

These things are not good.

And we should not defend them in the name of responsibility.

We should not allow law to become oppression.

And we should not allow freedom to become lawlessness.

We do not have the right to force our views onto others.

And we do not have the right to do harm to others.

My rights end where the next person's rights begin.

Aquarius.

How will Aquarius reconcile the great conflict between Saturn and Uranus?

The only answer is to address the fears on both sides.

Fear of transgression versus fear of domination and oppression.

Fear of change versus fear of stagnation.

Fear of immorality versus fear of castration.

These two great social movements fear each other.

And this plays out on the world stage.

Communism's fear of attack and economic domination.

Capitalism's fear of poverty and losing power.

Islam's fear of God's punishment.

Democracy's fear of losing liberty.

This is the basis of most of the world's conflicts.

And once we lose our fear of each other the more extreme aspects of Saturn (Conservatism) and Uranus (Liberalism) will fall away.

And we may have a balance of freedoms and responsibilities.

Equals.

Gay men put bodybuilders on a pedestal.

To us he is the ultimate:

The Great Dark Man, the All-American Boy, a Greek God.....

But Aquarius is about equality.

The exigencies of Aquarius require us to be equals.

And so it is not about receiving love from him but about giving our love.

Giving love to the Beloved.

And love will make us equals.
