I am a gay man.
I am sexually active.
And I'm Alive!
By Alive I mean in a loving relationship with God.
Homosexuality is not a sin.
So it does not induce death - i.e. separation from God - if that were possible.
Neither does it warrant hell.
I know that I will go to Heaven when I die.
God has promised this.
And not just me but all gay men.
I am a gay man.
And I'm Alive!

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. My son came out at 22. He's on his own in the "big city" about an hour south of us. I worry about him every day. He's 26 right now and confessed to me a couple of days ago that he is sexually active. I knew this day would come, but for some reason, it hit me like a ton of bricks.
ReplyDeleteI was once a fundamentalist. 47 years. Now I am humbled and rejected by all my friends, most of my family and all of my church. Feeling more and more like Jesus everyday!
