Feminism.
When women were told not to sacrifice themselves for others the feminist movement took a sharp turn in the wrong direction.
Women henceforth put personal power, status, and money before their husbands and families.
This is putting the love of power before the power of love.
It is little wonder that they are all divorced.
Love leads to the other.
And to sacrifice for the other.
This is the way of spiritual growth.
There is no other way.

Gay Church.
What is needed is a Gay Church.
A place where gay people can worship without harassment.
There is no reason why gay people should not worship God.
They are neither sinning nor are they in danger.
But fundamentalist elements within Christianity and other religions will not allow anyone to do this. They object and attack.
So gay Christians are constantly under attack from both sides.
From rigid fundamentalists and from anti-religious elements within the gay community itself.
We are caught between two extremes.
And, as usual, the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

The Evolution of the Heart.
A child has open and innocent love for his parents.
But this childlike love is soon lost.
The first stirrings of the heart take place in puberty when we experience love and desire for another.
If this love results in marriage we subsequently feel unselfish love for our children.
If our heart continues to evolve we will feel love for others who are not our own kin.
This can evolve into love for everyone.
We love God, our partner, our children, our family, our friends, our colleagues, our neighbors, strangers, even our enemies.
This is the mature love of Aquarius.
And it is manifesting in our world today.

Dark Side.
It would seem that many of the stars and celebrities in our world have a dark side.
By this I mean that they have a fascination with darkness and evil.
This is sometimes represented by reptiles or insects.
This creepy dark side often has a strong sexual component.
And it may be this which drives them.
But God can remove these dark obsessions.
If we pray to God He will hear.
And answer our prayers for release.

Eyes and Ears.
What we experience in a psychic and spiritual sense depends on what we see and hear.
If we constantly watch dark and violent videos and movies we may become dark and violent ourselves.
If we follow celebrities of dubious virtue we will be drawn into their influence and become selfish and egotistical like them.
If we listen constantly to rock music we will be tempted and corrupted by the negative influences which permeate rock music.
If we watch sports all the time we may become aggressive and belligerent like them.
Needless to say this is not the way to go.
Fixing our eyes and ears on spiritual things is called contemplation.
Contemplative practices include:
Listening to spiritual music - for example sacred choral music.
Reading scripture and commentaries on scripture.
Looking at icons and paintings with spiritual significance.
These practices will draw your mind into positive spiritual territory and be of great benefit.
You may even experience the Love of God.
So be mindful of what you watch and listen to.
It is extremely important for your spiritual growth.

Unconditional Love.
The love that comes with Aquarius is different from the personal love of Libra and the sensual love of Taurus.
It is universal, fraternal, and unconditional.
And as such it is more evolved.
It is both personally and spiritually mature.
It is less selfish than marriage.
And more altruistic than pleasure.
As the Age of Aquarius begins we will see more of this mature kind of love manifesting in our world.

Conspiracy.
We are in the grip of a huge Satanic conspiracy.
Hidden in our popular culture - our music, our T.V., our movies, our sports - is a coordinated network of Satanic stars and workers who are poisoning and corrupting everyone.
It stretches from music videos to energy drinks, from cooking shows to football, from wannabes to work.....
But, because it mostly works on the unconscious, it is not easily seen.
And it is deliberately covered up.
They will always have an alternative explanation ready to divert any suspicion.
But humanity is in denial.
We see these things but cannot admit they are Satanic.
There is no devil after all.
But because there is no devil does not mean there are no devil worshipers.
Many more people believe in the devil and what he can do than we realize.
So be more discerning in your viewing and listening.
And pray to God to deliver you.

Compassion.
When considering issues surrounding sex we should always remember that sex is a form of love.
And as such sex should be respected as part of life and not condemned.
Jesus never condemned sexual expression.
In fact he was known for eating with prostitutes and sinners.
Contrast this with the Neoplatonic writings of St. Paul which condemn the body (and sex) in favor of the spirit.
It is the influence of these writings which has been so damaging for the Church.
Most modern people don't think that they make sense and reject Christianity as a consequence.
But it is when compassion is placed above morality that we experience true spirituality.
And this applies particularly to sex.

Dates.
Have you noticed the number of t-shirts that have dates on them?
1966, 1973, 1984 etc..
These are not random numbers.
They represent periods of culture and rock music which are influenced by certain bands and stars.
These bands and stars put out music which contained Satanic magic and backtracking.
So each era is under a certain spell.
And each spell is designed to lead its adherents by a different route to hell.
This is what has been done to us.
But rest assured there is no hell in reality.
They still control you, however, if you wear their merchandise.
They want your mind and your money as well as your soul.
So don't allow yourself to be categorized.
Don't allow yourself to be led.
Rock culture is rife with Satanism.
It should be avoided as much as possible.

Beggars and Buggers.
When we pray we should remember those who are less advantaged than ourselves.
These are the beggars of our world - those who cannot support themselves and rely on the help of strangers.
We should also remember those who are despised and persecuted.
These are the buggers of our world - men who have sex with men - those who are put down and shunned, those who are the butt of jokes.
So when you pray do not forget the beggars and the buggers.

My Father's Business.
Jesus said, "'I must be about my Father's business.'" Luke 2:49b (KJB)
This saying is attributed to Jesus when he was presented in the Temple as a child of twelve.
He was sitting among the teachers and asking them questions.
I take this to mean that "my Father's business" is the study and interpretation of the scriptures.
We must be about our Father's business.

Does God Hate Me?
"Does God hate me?"
The number of young gay people who ask this question is staggering.
The only message they hear about God is that He hates gay people.
This is as much an indictment of sensationalist mass media as it is of the Churches that preach this message of hate.
There are Churches that accept gay people and affirm their sexuality.
But unfortunately they never appear in the media and their message of acceptance is lost.
It is up to these more progressive Churches to make their voices heard in the mass media and on the Internet.
Unless we can get the message that God loves gay people as He loves others out there then all of these young gay people will be lost.
So speak up and contradict the voices of hate.
God loves gay people and we should say so.

Tattoos and Graffiti.
The influence of modern Satanism can be seen in tattoos and graffiti.
Satanic symbols - flames, skulls, spider webs, dice, the devil himself - appear often but no one seems to know what it is.
These symbols also appear in music and on T.V. and in movies and literature.
But we deny that it is Satanism.
Modern humanity is in a state of denial.
We will not recognize what is happening.
There is no devil in reality so there can be no Satanists.
But there are, and they are famous people - rock stars and celebrities.
Open your eyes.
We have been betrayed.

Our Humanity.
Nothing is more divisive in religion than our attitude to our humanity.
Progressive Christians search for the human Jesus.
We agree with Jack Spong when he says that we seek to become fully human.
But to conservatives humanity is synonymous with sinfulness.
Humanity is basically bad and in need of rescue.
This indicates two opposing views of humanity.
But rather than subscribing to one view or the other perhaps we can find some common ground.
Progressives would say that humans act of their own free will in ignorance and fear and it is this that creates sin rather than any inherent sinful nature.
Conservatives may say that we are subject to the original sin of Eve and Adam but ignore God's original blessing: "and indeed, it was very good." Genesis 1:31b (NRSV)
Either way humankind is not inherently sinful.
But at the same time our world is full of sin and evil.

Work (It) Out.
People ask me, "How do you know these things?"
I worked it out.
Starting from my own experience I worked out the most likely source of the malice and violence which was affecting me.
Some of this had to do with AIDS and homophobia but there was more to it than that.
I found evil around me and from the most unlikely sources.
I concluded that this was coming from rock bands and people close to them in the arts elite.
So don't put down thinking about what is happening to you and around you.
You might just work it out.

Bad Words.
Each generation has been cursed with certain words which are designed to corrupt them:
Bad.
Pure evil.
Daredevil.
Transgression.
Hate.
Sin.
Filthy.
Wicked.
Rogue.
Monster.
Beast.
Wolf.
Vampire.
Villain.
Despicable.
Darkness.
Night.
This has been done deliberately to gradually corrupt successive generations until evil becomes second nature.
So be more aware of what you are hearing.
It might just be evil.

Mercy.
The miracle stories that we read in the Bible are not demonstrations of power or authority.
They are ultimately manifestations of God's mercy.
God knows our suffering and responds with mercy.
"Then the Lord said, 'I have observed the misery of my people who are in Egypt; I have heard their cry on account of their taskmasters. Indeed, I know their suffering, and I have come down to deliver them from the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of the land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey.'" Exodus 3:7.8 (NRSV)
So cry out to God!
He will show you mercy.

Egos.
"'The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, "God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax-collector."'" Luke 18:11 (NRSV)
This temptation - to think that we are better than others - is merely a disguise of our ego.
Many religious people fall into this trap and, instead of helping others, they boss them and dominate them.
This is spiritual immaturity.
What someone I knew called a naive conversion.
But many people stay in this juvenile state all their lives.
They seem unable, or unwilling, to grow out of it.
But spiritually mature people know that they are no better than others, even criminals or apostates.
There are reasons why people do what they do.
We are privileged to know God's grace.
That is all.

Grace.
We assume that God's blessings are bestowed on those who earn it in some way: by good works, or piety, or faith.
But in the end we are blessed by grace.
None of us can earn God's blessing.
None of us can say, "I deserve it."
All of us make mistakes.
And all of us err in our understanding.
And perhaps it is meant to be like this.
We are all under grace.

Legalism.
Legalism is the bane of religion.
It is the habit of human beings to look for patterns.
And to make of these patterns universal laws.
And then to enforce these laws with rewards and punishments.
It is not at all certain, however, that these laws are universal or even correct.
But some people need certainty.
They think that God is all about rules and even if He's not then He should be.
This process is driven by fear.
Fear of the punishments they assume to be associated with these laws.
Their image of God is of a strict rule-maker, perhaps like a father or a personal authority figure.
They think that people should get what they deserve.
But this is not God's way.
God forgives our transgressions and restores us to health.
He loves and reconciles us.
His steadfast love is forever.
And it is His pleasure to put us in Heaven

Side-Tracks.
Once you are on the spiritual path you will find that there are many side-tracks.
People will tempt you, even try to force you, onto one of these side-tracks.
They will try to win.
These side-tracks include:
moralism, legalism, right beliefs, purity, Biblical inerrancy, End-Times theology, spiritual warfare, traditionalism, and churchianity.....
People can spend the whole of their lives on one of these side-tracks.
Usually they are inspired by fear.
Fear of punishment, fear of damnation and hell.
But if you stay on the path of Love you will know that God does not punish us so there can be no hell.
Simply ask yourself, "What does my heart say?"
And you are home.

Magpies.
If pure white doves represent good and God.
And pure black crows represent evil.
We are forgetting the black and white magpies.
These are also evil because they disguise evil (black) with a white (good) exterior.
This is backwards and forwards, upside-down and right side up, upright and inverse.
If you see these black and white images, these backwards and forwards tunes, these upright and inverse words, know that these are evil disguised as good like black and white magpies.
This is their evil magic with which they hope to bewitch and control us.
To make us transgress and sin.
But God will not punish us.
You will be forgiven and rescued if you turn to God for help.

Theosis 2.
"'Truly I tell you, just as you did it for one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it for me.'" Matthew 25:40 (NRSV)
Far from separating us from the people around us the process of union with God (theosis) brings us into closer relationship with others.
God is telling us that He is everyone, even the least.
When asked which was the greatest commandment Jesus answered, "'"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind."'" Matthew 22:37
Then he added, "'And a second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."'" Matthew 22:39 (NRSV)
So the love of God which brings about the marriage which is said to be the purpose of life is reflected in our love for those around us.

Theosis 1.
God wishes to be in relationship with humanity.
He offers us a New Covenant.
So we should be about our Father's business.
And this is the business of theology.
One of the concepts of theology is theosis or union with God.
This is brought about gradually once we have established a relationship with God (traditionally through baptism) by purification (katharsis) and contemplation (theoria).
Questions about the nature of God and His relationship with humanity are foremost in Progressive Christianity.
We are experiencing a revolution in the way we see God and humankind.
Love purifies the heart.
And it is love that unites us with God.

Family.
We are all members of God's family.
Even our enemies, even those who have committed terrible crimes, even those who have rejected God and embraced evil.....
We are all brothers and sisters in the Family of Humanity.
And God Himself is our Father.
Jesus said, "'And call no one your father on earth, for you have one Father - the one in heaven.'" Matthew 23:9 (NRSV)
It is our job to be reconciled to those around us.
Not to judge others or reject them.
Not to punish others or make war.
It is up to us to make peace with our brothers and sisters.
And to pray for their well-being.

The Devil's Music.
As long ago as the 1960s rock music was being called the devil's music.
At the time most of us passed this off as an over-reaction by religious fanatics, mostly in the United States.
But as I learn more about it I am beginning to believe that they were right.
Rock bands use astrology. But if you study it more closely you will realize that it's backwards - they only use the negative interpretations of each sign and planet.
This is done on both an individual level and generational level.
They may use some positive images to rope you in but they will soon be turned negative.
So peace and love became pleasure and sex.
Freedom and equality became drugs, promiscuity, and insanity.
Passion and power became casual sex and pure evil.
Sexual equality became dominance, intimidation, and castration.
The spiritual search became witchcraft and magic.
Look more closely at the words and images.
You will find negativity there.
And don't be put off by a white cover.
This is merely to mislead you.
So now it's not so much that I believe in the devil but that the rock musicians themselves believe it.
And that's why rock music has negative effects.
Jesus said, "'No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit.'" Luke 6: 43,44a (NRSV)
The fruits of rock music are: drug addiction, criminality, promiscuity leading to divorce, rebelliousness, sex obsession, mental illness, suicide, blasphemy, and death.....
Rock music is the devil's music.

The Adversary.
One of the reasons for the decline in church attendances, and faith in general, is that religious leaders are unaware of the Adversary.
They don't know what they're up against.
The Adversary is the meaning of the Hebrew name Satan.
I don't believe there is a being called Satan but....
Satanism, which began on a large scale with the rock bands of the 1960s, now spreads through all of our popular culture - from rock music to movies to reality T.V. and sports.....
We are constantly brainwashed, tempted, poisoned, and distracted by those who work evil in our world.
And one of their objectives is to see the demise of the Christian Churches.
So if you aspire to perform God's work in our world you must include some counter to the barrage of evil put out by the Adversary.

The Good Things in Life.
An Indian yogi once said to me, "It's time you experienced some of the good things in life."
My reaction was rather cynical.
I was young and, like everyone else, I had been abused.
I did not know what he meant.
But since I have established a relationship with God I have begun to experience some of the good things he spoke about.
God loves us.
He blesses us.
He rescues us.
He saves us.
It is not difficult to return gratitude for such blessings.
God touches our heart.
And we love Him in return.
This is where the good things begin.
Love fills our lives with joy.
Love teaches us to give.
To give up our resentment and bitterness.
Love purifies our heart.
And integrates our personality.
But above all love is its own reward.
"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19 (NRSV)

The End.
In about 5 billion years our Sun will explode.
Men and women, in whatever form we exist, will cease to be.
It has been said that in the end we all return to the God who created us.
And this will be The End.
God will break into the theater of humanity, in the way that He has throughout history, to prepare us for this re-uniting with our creator.
But, rather than our minds, it is our hearts that He will prepare, through unconditional love and trust, to be re-united with the Love of God.
