Popular Culture.

It comes as a surprise to some when I say that there is Satanism in our popular culture.

Satanism is hidden in rock music, sports, and entertainment.

And so it is not sufficient merely to reject the teachings of religion because then we are vulnerable to the evil influence of Satanism in our popular culture.

This manifests as: hedonism, violence, vice, selfishness, materialism, cupidity, hate, and evil.....

But most of this is hidden behind a mask of glamour and popularity.

Their intention is to encourage sin which (they believe) will lead to death* and damnation.

This is the work they do for their master.

I do not believe that there is a literal devil in reality.

But the damage they do in his name remains.

There are Satanic temples like the Temple of Set in California.

And the priests and priestesses of these temples instruct people in Satanic magic.

Rock musicians in particular like to reference Aleister Crowley who was an early 20th Century black magician and Satanist.

He left instructions on how to make a pact with the devil.

But this is not widely known. 

And their influence is subtle and subterfuge.

So if you have rejected religion in favor of a secular life you will find that this subtle sabotage leads you into further suffering.

And nothing seems to work.

Life on Earth.

The reason that life on earth seems so confusing and hopeless is simple:

The authorities in our churches, our synagogues, our mosques, and our temples do not know God.

And therefore their teachings are false.

They teach a carrot and stick style theology which is designed to control sin.

And most of them have a negative attitude towards sexuality.

This results in the situation where the devil seems more appealing to some than God who is seen by them as an insane dictator.

And so we are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Between evil and a false god.

Is it any wonder that nothing seems to work?

This is why the prophets and Jesus are so critical of the shepherds - the religious authorities. 

Because they divert people away from the true God who is Mercy and Love.

And they inspire a hatred of God that results in evil.

How many times has God sent a messenger to reform religion but they were not willing.

And now, again, as we enter the Age of Aquarius God is sending a message:

Fear not!  I bring tidings of great joy! 

And good news to the poor.

Bodybuilders.

Male bodybuilders have been unfairly targeted by Satanists in the pornography industry.

This is reflected in the words they use:

Beast, monster, dominator, torturer, devil, muscle slut, nasty, freak.....

All these words plus images of devils, animals, bondage, torture, masks etc. pollute pornographic sites on the Internet.

They do this because they think it will make them f**k.

They think that the devil is magic and that his words will seduce them.

But bodybuilders are innocent victims.

They are vulnerable to flattery.

And they need to look tough.

My prayer is that God sends angels to save them and help them with their words.

Daddy, teddy bear, man mountain, big softie, gentle giant.....

These are words that would set them on the right track.

But a big heart is the key to his entry into Heaven.

Christianity.

Christianity is not merely conforming to some conservative political/social agenda.

In fact the teachings of the prophets and of Jesus challenge the practices of the conservative establishment.

But conservative authorities in the Church dominate and manipulate others in order to maintain their power. 

And unfortunately they ally themselves with worldly powers like the corporations and conservative political parties to reinforce it.

"'You Hypocrites!'"  Matthew 15:7 (NRSV) 

Jesus prophesied that the way of the world is evil.  (John 7:7)

And it was the religious and political authorities of the time who killed Jesus.

So don't submit to pressure from Conservatives to conform to their political views.

They will threaten you and intimidate you.

But instead adhere to the message of the prophets and of Jesus.

And that is: forgiveness, compassion, charity, and love.

Has Trump Lost His Mind?

Amid massive protests calling for his removal from office Donald Trump would appear to have lost his mind.

Answering questions with incoherent ravings and losing his bearings on stage he at times doesn't seem to know where he is.

The pressure of world-wide opposition to his actions as President would appear to have unhinged his mind, even to the point of doubting himself.

How much longer can he last?

Homosexuality, the Church, and God.

There are still many people in the world who believe that the Church, and therefore God, rejects homosexual people.

But the Uniting Church in Australia has been dealing with this issue since the 1990s.

Homosexuality is not a bar to ordination in the Uniting Church. 

And gay marriages can be celebrated in Uniting churches at the discretion of the Minister and the Church Council.

Gay marriages can also be celebrated in the Episcopal Church in America - which is the descendant of the Anglican Church in that country.

The issue of homosexuality has even been mooted in the Catholic Church.

But there is little publicity about these positive moves to accept homosexuality in the Churches.

It is time that people woke up to the fact that some Churches, and therefore God, are accepting of gay people.

The Darkness.

Have you noticed how some people wear all black all the time?

It is a uniform for corporate workers.

And it is a uniform for Generation X.

It is also prominent among conservative Christians.

This is the darkness.

In the darkness you cannot see.

And others cannot see you.

"And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil."  John 3:19 (NRSV)

Politics.

At the last election in the United States conservative Christians said: "Jesus is coming back soon and he won't be happy with what Liberals are doing."

Meaning the Democrats.

What?  Like helping the poor and allowing people to be who they are!? 

Conservative Christians don't know Jesus.

And they don't know God.

"'No slave can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and wealth.'"  Luke 16:13 (NRSV)

This makes rich Christians a contradiction.

Many Christians who are wealthy think that they are being true to the Gospel but they are not.  

The Gospel is "good news for the poor". (Luke 4:18)

And Jesus speaks repeatedly about the evils of wealth.

Bur conservative Christians impose the religion of "Cheap Grace" which obeys some aspects of the Gospel but ignores any requirement to give up their wealth.

And they usurp the power of God for themselves so that they not only have all the wealth but they have all the power as well.   

They then manipulate and control the masses through rewards and punishments, intimidation and threats.

Jesus says of them: "'They will receive the greater condemnation.'"  Mark 12:40 (NRSV)

Forgiveness.

The Internet is full of people saying: "I will never forgive them!"

As if this somehow justifies their grievance.

But Jesus said: "Do not judge, so that you may not be judged."  Matthew 7:1 (NRSV)

So we should forgive others as God has forgiven us.

Ronald Reagan.

The right-wing corporate owned media told us that Ronald Reagan was a hero because he defeated Communism. 

He also cut their taxes.

But Ronald Reagan used religion to demonize and damn his political opponents and he endorsed the idea that the Millennium would bring a Last Judgement on his political enemies.

This was backed up by Generation X who kicked, intimidated, and damned the left-leaning Baby-Boomers.

None of this was based in truth of course but a media blanket made sure there was no dissent.

And so it is time to reconsider Ronald Reagan's legacy.

 

His commitment to Neo-Liberal Economics has resulted in the greatest disparity between rich and poor in history.

And his disregard for truth has paved the way for the post-truth era we now live in.

And so he can be seen as an evil man hellbent on destroying his political opponents.

And someone responsible for resurrecting the type of propaganda that Goebbels used to establish the Nazi Regime in Hitler's Germany.

 

Not a hero but a villain.

The Way of the World.

It is the way of the world to seek riches for yourself.

And it is the way of the rich to seek power over others.

And it is the way of the powerful to subjugate and exploit the masses.

This is the way of the world.

And Jesus said that the way of the world is evil. (John7:7)

Church and God.

It may come as a surprise to many that there is a difference between Church and God.

Jesus said that the Pharisees and Priests did not know God. (John 7:28,8:55)

And the majority of Jesus' Priests and Ministers today do not know God.

They preach a traditional theology of sin and ransom, judgement and punishment, heaven and hell.

But Jesus said: "'The Father judges no one.'" John 5:22 (NRSV) and : "'You judge by human standards, I judge no one.'" John 8:15 (NRSV)

 

And so there is a difference between what the Church teaches and God.

God judges no one, but waits for us to realize and experience His Love.

But the Church is captive to fear.

They fear punishment and they fear hell.

And much of their good works are motivated by fear.

And so we must not feel ashamed of rejecting the Church's teachings.

But we must persist in our search for direct experience of God.

Only then will we see.

Anti-Christ.

Too many people in authority in Jesus' Churches endorse the rich and powerful in our world.

They are right-wing, anti-liberal, anti-gay, and anti-women.

And they oppose the efforts of left-wing politicians to make a more just and equal society.

This is why Communist countries banned religion - they sided with the rich and powerful - the aristocracy.

And they have become a part of a conservative establishment which has been seduced by power and authority.

They subjugate the masses and they bathe in power and privilege.

The Bible talks repeatedly about them condemning their corruption and exposing their crimes.

But you won't hear those passages read out in church.

Instead you will hear promises of Heaven and flattery of the faithful.

This is what Dietrich Bonhoeffer called - Cheap Grace - a stealing of God's blessing while not altering their selfish behavior.

But they have appropriated Jesus' name and usurped the power of God.

All the while ignoring the poor and needy.

They are anti-christ.

Rewards and Punishments.

Too many people manipulate our behavior by using rewards and punishments.

If you do what they want they will reward you with compliments and cheerfulness*.

If you don't so what they want they will punish you with insults and bad temper.

This happens on a personal level, a social level, and a psychic level.

The carrot and stick approach of ruling elites is an example of social manipulation.

And, of course, the traditional theology of the Church reflects this approach.

But rather than seeking to control our behavior God loves us unconditionally.

His representatives on Earth, however, feel that they need to control our behavior by imposing absolute rewards and punishments.

Sin and death, transgression and penance, Heaven and hell.....

These things are control methods.

And they are a direct contradiction of Jesus' teachings.

"Your sins are forgiven."  Luke 7:48 (NRSV)

"The Father judges no one."  John 5:24 (NRSV)

"Love your enemies."  Matthew 5:44 (NRSV)

  

"Father forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing."  Luke 23:34 (NRSV)

God's Love is unconditional.

God does not hold us to ransom.

But this does not mean that He condones bad behavior.

God is good.

And He expects us to be good also.

Moonlight.

We can see at night by the light of the Moon - which is in fact sunlight reflected by the face of the Moon - and the brilliant stars are visible; but the Sun - our local Star - is beyond the horizons of our vision.

And so we can see in the darkness.

And what we see is hidden evil.

Evil hidden by Pluto's Helmet of Invisibility.

Moonlight is white.

Evil is black, hidden in the darkness.

This is the nine-tenths of the iceberg hidden from normal sight.

The dwarf planet Pluto orbits at an angle of 17° to the ecliptic.

All the other planets orbit within a few degrees of the ecliptic.

And so Pluto's activities are hidden from normal sight.

But we can discern the activities of Plutonic influences by deduction and logic, by following the trains of thought indicated by objective evidence.

This evidence is presented by the one-tenth of the iceberg visible in normal sight.

And so death, and hellfire, and the sign of the horns are signs of Satanism hidden in our popular culture. 

Rock music, entertainment, and sports conceal hidden evil which curses us and sabotages our spiritual quest.

But without the Light from God we are unable to see the full extent of hidden evil.

Right-wing political forces are using subliminal suggestion to trigger unconscious prejudice, hatred, and fear in order to create political power.

And so we see minority groups - immigrants, gays and lesbians - and their political enemies - left-wing politicians and liberals - demonized and blackened in the media.

These are lies hidden in the darkness.

Black is their color, and blindness is their cloak.

But if we wake up we can see their propaganda for the evil that it is.

And turn to the Light of God that is Goodness and Love.

Fear.

What is it that stops us doing what we know is good?

Fear.

We fear that virtue won't work.

We'll miss out, we'll starve.....

At worst it is considered stupid.

Shri Yogendraji said: "When people start telling you you're a fool you'll know your on the right track."

But fear rules on Earth.

And we experience: persecution, exploitation, prejudice, hate, inequality, hypocrisy, and war.

X.

Generation X and their descendants have planets in Scorpio.

And that is their curse.

They think that it is alright to hate.

They think that it is alright to damn people.

They think that it is alright to blame others.

And they think that it is alright to kill.

They use violence - verbal, emotional, psychic, spiritual, and physical.

They are materialistic and hypocritical.

They think that it is alright to turn to the devil as an alternative.

They are fascist, judgemental, racist, and homophobic.

When challenged they yell.

 

And when beaten they sulk.

They are narcissistic.

And they are ignorant.

Their egos won't let them admit any faults.

They lie, they cheat.

They scapegoat their enemies.

And they make everyone else like them.

None of these things is acceptable for a modern civilized human being.

And this should be made clear to them in the future.

Church.

Why is it that church people get away with neglect and complacency while thinking of themselves as good Christians?

They seem to think that  because they accept the traditional theology and more or less obey the rules on sexual behavior* that this makes them good Christians.

But they do not modify their behavior in regard to money, hospitality, or politics.

They talk about their house renovations, and their holiday houses, their overseas trips, and their marvelous offspring.

But they never talk about religion or spirituality.

And this is not new.

It has been happening for thousands of years.

They only ring you when they want something.

And they never visit.

They don't invite you into their homes.

And they avoid conflict.

What actually happens is that a vital, enthusiastic minister is domesticated by the congregation.

They put up a facade of niceness and they stonewall.

They don't want to do anything more than indulge their delusions.

"We are the good people because we go to church."

There is evidence that this was happening in Jesus' time.

Lip service and cheap grace.

It is not good enough.

And it is dying.

The Kingdom of God.

"But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first."  Mark 10:31 (NRSV)

Those who live a life valuing money and possessions, status and fame, authority and power are first in our world.

The rich and powerful rule.

But they will be last in the Kingdom of God.

And those who are left behind, forgotten, powerless, and subjugated; who value justice, compassion, mercy, and peace will be first.

Stiff-Necked People.

Moses complained of his "stiff-necked people". (Exodus 32:9. 34:9)

But the modern Christian churches are full of stiff-necked, obdurate people.

They are stubborn and hard-hearted.

Prejudice and intolerance marks them.

And they judge and punish others.

This is a far cry from the Gospel of Love that Jesus taught.

The Truth.

The truth is that right-wing governments voted in by Generation X and their descendants have given corporate plutocrats absolute power. 

And absolute power corrupts absolutely.

They have used the media they own and the sporting clubs they finance to brainwash and intimidate the public.

"Work harder!"

This is the answer to every question.

It's deliberate and it's evil.

They destroyed the unions and imposed draconian working conditions.

All the gains unions had made over years of struggle were lost overnight.

In the name of Neo-Liberal Economics.

And they tell us we prefer their fascist philosophy.

They call it "populism"

As if it was popular.

They manipulate the truth.

And they scapegoat liberals.

Gays and immigrants are easy targets for a generation of homophobes and racists.

And they abuse religion calling their enemies "agents of the devil".

While they call themselves "bad" and "no angel".

They even resort to "pure evil".

But the Religious Right justify them for political purposes.

And they judge everyone and damn their enemies to hell.

Even to the point of turning to the devil.

But their narcissism won't let them admit it.

They think they are agents of a violent, dictatorial God.

But they are wrong!

They are agents of evil.

They endorse violence, hate, and lies.

History will judge them.

This is the truth.

The New Religion.

The New Religion is not a captive of the past. 

It is free to reinterpret historical scriptures in the light of new revelations.

It is not a set of intellectual propositions but an immediate experience of the Divine.

And a realization of Reality.

And with this realization comes a contradiction of traditional theology.

We come to realize that the traditional image of God as a harsh punisher and judge of humankind is false.

God does not punish us or judge us.

And so the traditional teaching that the sin of Adam and Eve is overcome by Christ's death on the cross becomes a nonsense.

The inmost nature of God is Love.

God is the loving Father of everyone.

And He loves His gay sons and daughters.

The traditional image of God is based in fear.

But there is no fear in God.

And so we must overcome our fears.

And open our hearts to everyone.

Any suggestion of violence in scripture is false.

God is non-violent (Ahimsa).

These passages are projections of human expectations onto God.

We expect Natural Justice.

We expect punishment for sin.

But God does not act in this way.

God is merciful and forgiving.

God is compassionate.

God is Love.

Atrocities.

Our world is riddled with atrocities:

The genocide of Palestinians by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The invasion of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin.

The persecution of gay people in Africa.

The brutal military regime in Myanmar.

The imprisonment of opposition politicians in Pakistan and India.

The economic and ideological binges of Donald Trump.

The rise of far-right Neo-Nazi groups around the world.

Pray!

The Church.

How can the Church preach mercy and forgiveness and practise condemnation and punishment?

How can they preach love for all humanity and damn gay and lesbian people?

How can they preach humility and poverty and court power, authority, and riches?

The answer is that they are hypocrites - they say one thing and practise another.

"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to the disciples, 'The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat; therefore do whatever they teach you and follow it; but do not do as they do, for they do not practise what they teach.  They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on the shoulders of others, but they themselves are unwilling to lift a finger to move them.  They do all their deeds to be seen by others.....They love to have the place of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues, and to be greeted with respect in the market place, and to have people call them rabbi.'"  Matthew 23:1-7 (NRSV)

"The shepherds also have no understanding, they have all turned to their own way, to their own gain, one and all."  Isaiah 56:11 (NRSV)

"Ah you shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves!  Should not the shepherds feed the sheep?  You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with wool, you slaughter the fatlings; but you do not feed the sheep.  You have not strengthened the weak, you have not healed the sick, you have not bound up the injured, you have not brought back the stayed, you have not sought the lost, but with force and harshness you have ruled them."  Ezekiel 24:2-4 (NRSV)

And so it is in the Church of Jesus Christ today!

Peace and Love.

Peace and Love is Jesus.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

And Jesus' commandment is to Love.

The redistribution of wealth is the Gospel and the Prophets.

It is good news for the poor.

It is John the Baptist.

And it is the Magnificat.

But sex and drugs and rock and roll is the devil.

This was deliberately sown to sabotage a whole generation - The Flesh Failures*.

And it continues today.

Satanism in rock music is negative, corrupt, and demonic.

Leave it behind.

AUM.

The secret behind the chant AUM is:

A - the mind turned outwards into the world (action).

U - the mind turned inwards (unconscious).

M - the soul centered in the heart (amor).

Win, Lose, or Draw.

Rather than adopting the win at all costs approach of our sporting heroes we should consider the win lose or draw approach of Yoga.

Rather than our moods depending on what happens in the world around us we should stabilize our moods by linking them to the Eternal Present.

In this Eternal Present is our soul, the Divine Spark within us.

It never changes and it never fails.

It is God in us. 

And it's essence is Love.

Church.

The reason that traditional Church authorities do not know God is that when Christianity became the state religion the leaders of the Church adopted the carrot and stick approach of the worldly powers.

This approach is designed to keep the masses under control.

And much of the Church's traditional teaching has been twisted to achieve this end.

But it is based on fear and a dim view of humanity.

Jesus said that the world did not know God.

And this is the reason why.

The Reality.

As a response to Satanism and negative influences in our popular culture it is not sufficient to merely return to the Church and its traditional theology.

Because this traditional theology does not correspond to the Reality.

The myth of the Fall of Humanity and our Salvation through the Cross is just that - a myth.

Making an idol of Jesus and claiming absolute status is not the way to Salvation. 

Salvation comes from Jesus' teachings.

We must listen to what Jesus said.

Not merely subscribe to some absolute idolatry.

Jesus said to love God and love your neighbor as yourself.

And his commandment was to love one another.

And so the way to Salvation comes through the heart.

Too much of the Church's teachings are based in fear.

Fear of sin, fear of punishment, fear of error, fear of the devil, fear of hell.....

And fear is what imprisons the heart.

It is fear that hardens our hearts and makes us cold and judgemental.

But Jesus frees us from fear.

He shows us a God who is merciful and forgiving.

He shows us a God who is our loving Father.

It is this that will save us.

Overcome your fears.

Open your heart.

And Live!

History.

What Satanism hidden in rock music did in the 1960s and 1970s was encourage indulgence in drugs and sex in the hope that sin would induce death* and damnation.

In the 1980s a new generation was inspired by their Satanic rock stars to enact a Fascist reaction to the party of the 60s and 70s and scapegoat gays who were hit by AIDS.

This created the curious phenomenon of devils in heaven and the bad is good mentality of Generation X. 

This was endorsed by right-wing politicians, Fundamentalist Christians, and corporate plutocrats who used Hollywood and the media they owned to enforce their manifesto.

This survived a hiatus in the 1990s to enlist a younger group who openly support Nazism and violent methods to gain political power.

This group is supported by nationalist Evangelical Christians who have been poisoned by Satanic lies and Fascist propaganda. 

This has resulted in the election of Donald Trump and his billionaire allies.

But nothing lasts forever.

The opposition to Trump and his ideological thugs is growing and the political landscape is changing.

And so there is a return to the rational, anti-fascist perspective and a more just and compassionate world.

But Satanists in rock music and entertainment will try to wreck this as they wrecked the civil rights movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

And so we must join with a third younger generation and return to the idealism of our youth without the indulgence and decadence induced by Satanism in rock music, entertainment, and sports.

Wrong!

Generation X are wrong about everything:

Bad is not good.

Hate is not O.K..

Judgement is not a prerogative.

Everything they don't understand in not bullshit.

Violence is not entertainment.

Murder is not a solution.

Evil is not normal.

God does not punish us.

Generation X are wrong about everything!

Gay Pride.

The banning of Gay Pride events in Hungary is another example of Fascist scapegoating of gay people to create political power.

The use of scapegoating of a vulnerable minority is classical Fascism as practised by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi government in 1930s Germany.

We have seen this in Africa and now in Europe,

What the scapegoat does is create what Hitler called moral ease for the majority.

This is a psychological mechanism which deflects all blame and evil onto the scapegoat.

History has proven this technique to be evil in itself.

And it should not be tolerated in our modern world.
