Pet Hate.

When confronted with evil people will blame their pet hate 

and use it to further their illusions.

Just as the German people were blackened and disgraced forever for supporting Hitler and the Nazis' persecution of the Jews.....

So Generation X and their allies will be eternally blackened and disgraced for their persecution of gay people after the AIDS crisis.

Injustice.

Since the AIDS crisis gay people have been persecuted and victimized.

This brings to mind the story of Oscar Wilde.

Oscar Wilde was a prominent playwright and author in the late 19th Century.  He was prosecuted for homosexual acts and imprisoned with hard labor.

However, this is not remembered as a just punishment but as a great injustice.

And this period in history that has seen the persecution of gay people will be remembered as a similar injustice.

And those who prosecuted this injustice will be seen as hypocrites and bigots.
