A Higher Power.

Corporate plutocrats rule our world.

But there is a higher power than them.

You can appeal to God Himself and He will answer you.

The good in you will be vindicated.

And He will show you His Salvation.

The Secret.

Why is everyone shushing us?

What's the secret?

The secret is that rock stars have sold their souls to the devil* for fame, fortune, and sex.

And their music and videos are full of subtle poison and sabotage.

But we should not be keeping this knowledge secret.

We should be shouting it from the rooftops.

Rock music is Satanism!

Leave it behind.

(*You may not believe in the devil, but they do!)

Human Good.

The debate has long raged about whether human beings are intrinsically good or bad.

We could be excused for thinking that humans are bad by nature.

But my understanding is that our true self or soul is a Divine Spark that resides in the heart.

And as this soul is a Spark of the Divine it is intrinsically good.

Because God is wholly good.  

So human beings are basically good.

But as we grow and experience we learn fear.

And fear can cause bad behavior: violence, exploitation, greed, oppression.....

There are many good people in the world.

But evil is in control.

Love.

In the end what is wrong with the world is that there is not enough love.

For love is the universal panacea.

And love is the inmost nature of God.

David Bowie.

The reason that David Bowie was so popular was because he was androgynous and thought to be the Gay Messiah.

And as such he represented a leader of the coming Age of Aquarius.

The fact that he turned out to be a fake was most unfortunate.

Associations with Satanism and Black Magic have tarnished his legacy.

But David Bowie was a rock star.

And it is rock stars who dabbled in Satanism not their gay fans.

So associations of homosexuality with Satan are misplaced.

Gays and lesbians are androgynous like angels.

And in the Age of Aquarius we will be free!

Scapegoating.

By blaming the Baby-Boomers and Hippies for Satanism in rock music Generation X were scapegoating the evil of their own generation onto their predecessors.

They ignored the Satanism perpetrated by their own rock stars and celebrities and projected their evil onto us. 

They were then whitewashed by the religious right because of their conservative political views*.

And they blamed gay men for AIDS.

Thus setting up a scapegoat which gave them "moral ease"**.

But the fact remains that Satanism in rock music did not end in 1980.

In fact it got worse.

Not only did the rock stars of the 1980s practise Satanism but violent horror movies in the popular culture and materialism and cupidity became widespread.

Generation X were bad by their own admission.

But they claimed moral purity by scapegoating.

And the Religious Right backed them up.

(* This was created by Ronald Reagan demonizing his political enemies.)

(*"Moral ease" is the term that Hitler used for the effect on the majority of scapegoating the Jews.)

Culture Wars.

The basis of Culture Wars is a false assumption.

The objection of the Religious-Right to Liberalism and homosexuality is based on the false assumption that they are things of the devil.

But Liberalism is not Satanism.

And homosexuality is not demonic possession.

These assumptions are based on associations with rock musicians John Lennon, David Bowie, and others who practised secret Satanism in their music.

This inspired Ronald Reagan's claim that they were "unconscious agents of the devil."

But they did not blame the right people in the end. 

They misused this knowledge to destroy their political opponents.

And this error is the basis of Culture Wars.

Peace and Love.

When Ronald Reagan blamed the Hippie Generation for all the evils of the world and labelled them "unconscious agents of the devil" he set in place a whipping boy for the right.

But Peace and Love is not the devil.

The decadence and hedonism inspired by the rock stars of the 1960s and 1970s was the result of secret Satanism in popular music.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll was the work of the devil.

But Peace and Love is Jesus.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace and his commandment is to love one another.

So the right-wing religious people who followed Ronald Reagan were in fact destroying their own Messiah.

By damning Hippies and Gays the religious-right betrayed its own basis.

And that is why, after 40 years, the Satanism hidden in rock music is still flourishing.

They blamed the wrong things.

Liberalism and homosexuality are not the devil.

Rock music is the devil.

Fascist Propaganda.

Part of what is happening is that we are being brainwashed by fascist propaganda in the corporate-owned media.

Plutocrats, with the backing of right-wing Churches, are rolling back welfare, aid, immigration, and LGBT+ rights.

And they justify this by claiming divine authority.

Any attempt to encourage generosity, charity, or justice is labelled Marxism and promptly dismissed.

And they gain the support of right-wing religious people because Marxism is atheistic and so they assume that God is Capitalist.

But God is no more a Capitalist than he is a Communist.

And money motivation is condemned in the Bible.

So turn off the T.V..

And throw away your newspaper.

We are being brainwashed.

What's Happening?

No one seems to know what's happening.

Everyone knows that there is something drastically wrong but no one knows what it is.

Part of the answer is that Satanism hidden in rock music, sports, and entertainment is subtly tempting and corrupting us.

Those who have sold their souls for fame, fortune, and a rock star reception undermine our ethics and encourage us to sin.

Death, darkness, and evil lurk beneath a mask of glamour and popularity.

But they are Dogs (gods backwards) and Divas (faux-goddesses).

And they want your soul in hell.

Jesus' Message.

Jesus message was one of love, forgiveness, and inclusion.....

So why are so many of his Churches intolerant, hateful, and judgemental?

The Church has been part of the conservative establishment and as such it reflects the philosophy of the ruling elite.

This is more in tune with the Pharisees than Jesus.

So take what they say with a grain of salt.

And listen to the words of Jesus.

Hard.

Hard is not the same as strong.

Hard-heartedness is in fact a product of fear.

But a strong heart is open and full of love.

To him compassion is not weakness.

And tears are not an embarrassment.

A big, soft heart is a sign of strength.

And power comes from giving love.

AFL.

Homophobia is rampant in the AFL.

It is violent, virulent, and vindictive.

And it is not just players and officials at the clubs.

It is fans.

It is evident at games.

AFL clubs are not safe places for gay men.

Be they fans, employees, or players.

It is the last bastion of homophobia.

And it is unacceptable in a modern liberal democracy.

Iceberg.

Most people will say that Satanism is not a problem because there is so little of it.

But that is because only one tenth of it is visible.

The majority of the activities of Satanism in our world are subliminal.

You will see the flames.

You will see the hand signs.

You will see the tongues.

You will see the backwards words and images.

But you will not register what they mean.

The unconscious messages are: that the devil is powerful. the devil is successful, the devil is lucky, the devil governs sex.....

All of these are lies.

All power comes from God, the flames of hell represent torment.

The devil is a born loser, he cannot win.

The devil is bad luck - Friday the 13th is unlucky, 666 is a curse.

Sex cannot be a thing of the devil - Sex was invented by God, its power and pleasure come from Him.

So if you are pretending that it does not matter you will be buying the lies.

And you will suffer.

Because they tell you to do all the wrong things.

And they want your soul in hell.

It works on your subconscious.

So think about what you see.

There is Satanism in rock music.

There is Satanism in sports.

There is Satanism in movies.

But nine tenths of it is subliminal.

The Scapegoating Mechanism.

The French philosopher Rene Girard describes what he calls the scapegoating mechanism.

This is the psychological phenomenon by which people externalize all evil onto a scapegoat - often a vulnerable minority group.

This creates a sense of moral purity and superiority.

He says that people then persecute and victimize the scapegoat.

This is what has happened since AIDS.

Many people have made gays and lesbians the locale of all evil in order to feel morally pure and good.

This despite their own attitudes and behavior.

Right-wing political forces have used this deliberately to gain political power. 

It is based on prejudice.

And it functions like a switch.

But it breaks down in the end.

And the scapegoat is vindicated.

The Whole Damn Thing.

The shift in the zeitgeist inspired by Generation X is all bad.

Bad, delinquents, pure evil, X factor, no angel, attitude, badass, devils in heaven, excellent, ticks, the right thing, picket fences, boxer shorts, deb. balls, air guitar, School of Rock, violent horror movies, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Dancing with the Devil, greed is good, material girl, sharks and wolves, kick, violent computer games, red dead redemption, diabolo, the dark portal, and much more.....

All this is bad.

And it is responsible for the corruption and degradation of our society.

It undermines our ethics.

And it glamorizes evil.

Because it is based in Satanism.

Satanism.

Those who turn to the devil as an alternative to God are not reacting against God at all.

What they are rejecting is the traditional authoritarian teachings of the Church.

These include: celibacy, penance, suffering, original sin, self-abnegation, obligation, fear, hell, and the mortification of the body.....

These teachings do not reflect the nature of God at all.

They are mostly Machiavellian mass control techniques.

They have their basis in fear.

But there is no fear in God.

God loves us.

And it is His Will that we be free!

God's Church.

How can God's Church be run by people who don't know God and don't do His Will?

The answer is that those who seek positions in God's Church are interested in power and authority.

And so they are subject to the temptations of power and authority.

And even if they are not they will soon be indoctrinated into the authoritarian teachings of the traditional Church.

Jerusalem.

"'Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it!  How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!'"  Matthew 23:37 (NRSV)

What does this mean?

God is saying that His desire is to gather His children to Him with the love of a mother hen.

But those who run His Church are not willing.

They insist on the religion of fear and punishment.

And they slander and attack the messengers God sends to them.

The Tombs of the Prophets.

Jesus said to the Pharisees and Lawyers: "'Woe to you!  For you build the tombs of the prophets whom your ancestors killed.'"  Luke 11:48 (NRSV)

By this Jesus was saying that those who killed the prophets sent by God had appropriated their legacy and turned it back into the authoritarian carrot and stick approach of judgement and punishment.

And I say that the same thing has happened in the Church of Jesus.

And that the descendants of those who killed Jesus now run his Church.

Propaganda.

The truth is that for 40 years we have been in the grip of Fascist propaganda.

The demonization of the political left by Ronald Reagan and Fundamentalist Christians which saw innocent people subjected to shaming and damnation still haunts our political landscape today.

The pointing of the finger and scapegoating of gays and liberals is based on lies and deliberate deception.

These techniques were developed in Nazi Germany and they work for a time.

But in the end they will be seen for the evil they are.

The part of Generation X in these lies cannot be overstated.

But nothing lasts forever.

And their hate and violence will be exposed at last.

The Gay Community.

There is no need to remind the Gay Community of the prejudice and hostility that still affects gay and lesbian people.

Political activism and perseverance will see us win out in the end.

But there is another negative influence which affects the Gay Community of which not many are aware.

And that is the dark influence hidden in rock music.

Gay venues invariably play rock music and videos for their patrons.

But there is sabotage and cursing in their products.

They whip up sexual promiscuity and wreck relationships with their superficial propaganda.

The excessive sexual activity of the 1970s was deliberately induced by duboius rock stars and celebrities.

And this will happen again unless we become more aware of the motives and techniques of those who entertain us.

Superficial sexual relationships were encouraged in the past when homosexuality was illegal and most gay men were married or in the closet.

This is no longer the case.

Young gay men are looking for a long-term relationship or even marriage.

So we must be aware of what we are watching and listening to at gay venues.

Moderation is advised in our modern environment.

But you won't here that from rock musicians.

So be aware.

And live!

Pleasure.

When we are young we experience pleasure and we assume that this will make us happy.

But indulgence in pleasure leads to burn-out and emptiness.

It is not the solution it promised to be.*

This makes us very bad-tempered.

Until we find love.

Love is the universal panacea.

To be loved is good but to love is even better.

So give your love and live!

The Truth.

The Reality is that God is Love.

He does not punish us.

He does not judge us.

He forgives us with His infinite Mercy.

And He nurtures us like a Mother.

Love.

So if you love God and love your neighbor you are constantly in love and in communion with God.

Love flows through your whole being.

And you are Home!

Service.

If you are doing things because you think you're supposed to the chances are that you are acting out of fear.

The result of this is usually a sense of resentment that you are being asked to do something you don't really want to do.

And this reluctance can make you unhappy and bad-tempered.

This is the opposite of what is intended.

But if your motivation is love and a genuine desire to help then you will experience joy!

This is the great happiness that comes from loving God and loving your neighbor.

And there is no experience greater than this.

3 Generations.

Satanism in rock music affects each generation according to the generational planets in their horoscopes.

And so the Baby-Boomers were encouraged to indulge in bodily pleasures - "sex and drugs and rock and roll."; "The Flesh Failures."*

Generation X were encouraged to hate and use violence and evil to win - "Sometimes you kick"; "The Devil Inside."

The Millennials are being assailed by rock stars and tempted to turn to wickedness and evil magic.

So be aware.

We have been betrayed.

Rock music is Satanism.

Beast.

The origin of the Beast is in the prophetic dreams of Daniel in the Bible.

It also appears in the Book of Revelation

It represents powers that use violence and brutality to conquer and maintain dominance.

In Daniel there are four Beasts which represent the Empires of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome.

The Beast in Revelation is the Empire of Rome and the man whose number is 666 is Nero Caesar.

But the Beast represents anyone who relies on violence and force to establish power.

We are seeing increasing references to Beasts in sports and entertainment.

This is no accident.

Satanism in our popular culture deliberately portrays Beasts as desirable, powerful, and successful.

Most people do not realize the sinister origins of these words and images.

So if you are supporting Beasts you are endorsing the use of violence and brutality to achieve your ends.

Sex.

When we are young we can have problems related to sex that stem from viewing the beloved as a sex object.

This is not recognizing that the object of our desire is in fact a human being.

But with desire comes love.

And with love comes respect.

So if we always respect the loved one's wishes, and right, and vows.....then we will have no further problems with sex.

Life!

When I was young I thought that God was far away in Heaven.

My scientific education presented me with a world devoid of God.

But now I know that God is everywhere.

He is the sap in the trees, the pollen in the flowers, the oxygen in the air, the life of the waters, the warmth of the Sun, the fertility of the earth, the healing of the body, and much more,,,,,

He resides in all the animals that surround us.

And He is in all the peoples of the Earth.

But the inmost nature of God is love.

And the Divine Spark, out soul, is in our hearts.

Counterpoint.

And so to counter the influence of Satanism in our popular culture we can orient ourselves to the good by practising:

Mercy, forgiveness, compassion, charity, honesty, altruism, generosity, benevolence, tolerance, truthfulness, care, and unconditional love.....

We can endorse: Light, Life, and Love!

And open our hearts to others.

Astray.

The truth is that Satanism hidden in our popular culture is leading everyone astray.

They tell you to indulge in bodily pleasures, to endorse obsession and addiction, to hate, to chase after fame and fortune, to think of the devil as lucky and successful, to worship money, and to rely on materialism..... 

These things will not lead to the happiness they promise.

They lead to emptiness, burn-out, alienation, delusion, and suicide.

They are malicious lies and falsehoods.

And they display the flames of hell.

Those who push these things are betraying you.

They want your soul in hell.

And they think that the sins they sell will get you there.

They think that the devil will reward them with fame, fortune, and a rock star reception.

But there is no devil in reality.

So their hope is a delusion.

But the damage they do remains.

And we suffer for it.

Jonah.

In church we have been studying the Book of Jonah.

Jonah was sent to prophesy to the wicked city of Nineveh via a boat trip in the opposite direction and three days in the belly of a whale.

I wondered what the wickedness of Nineveh was.

And I found later in the text: "All shall turn from their evil ways and the violence that is in their hands."  Jonah 3:8 (NRSV)

And: "people who do not know their right hand from their left."  Jonah 4:11 (NRSV)

So the sins of Nineveh were violence and ignorance.

And these are problems in our world today.

Love.

There is a part of you that cannot be touched by what you have thought or what you have done.

This is your inner child, your soul, that is the Divine Spark within you.

And because this soul is in essence Divine it is entirely good because God is entirely good.

This is your true self, and it is good.

It is descended from God, and it is immortal.

It is the part of you that loves, and that love is infinite.

For love is the inmost nature of God.

And love is the universal panacea.

Money.

Jesus said: "'No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and money (sic).'"  Matthew 6:24 (NRSV)

Many Christians rationalize their love of money by practising what Dietrich Bonhoeffer called "Cheap Grace".

That is accepting the blessings of God and Jesus but not making any changes to their behavior.

They merely behave as everyone around them behaves - and that is to accumulate money and possessions.

This is their security; not the security of trust in the Love of God.

Fear.

The bane of Christianity is fear.

All the force and violence and finger-pointing that Christians do is caused by fear.

Fear of God and fear of Satan.

But we have nothing to fear from God.

God loves us.

He does not punish us and He does not judge us.

And in the end perhaps Satan does not exist.

There is enough fear and evil in humanity to explain our experiences; there does not need to be some supernatural being directing it.

And so we can let go of our fear.

And we can express our love.

Hidden Evil.

We think that we are enlightened and aware.

But evil is present and active in our daily lives.

It is hidden.

It lurks in rock music and videos, in movies, novels, TV, and sports.....

It appears in advertising.

It turns us to darkness, hatred, and evil.

It sells selfishness and hedonism.

It induces addiction, obsession, and indulgence.

These things do not bring happiness.

They serve money and evil.

They invoke the flames of hell.

So open your eyes and your mind.

But most of all open your heart.

Counterplay.

What then must we do?

To counteract the corrupting and deceiving voices in our popular culture we must cultivate virtues and principles in line with the goodness of God.

These include non-materialistic values like: generosity, charity, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, non-violence, and unconditional love.

We must turn away from death and darkness and seek Light, Life, and Love. 

Rock music is the devil's music.

So listening to sacred classical music will help.

Addictions to sports, gambling, and sex can be countered by volunteering and moderation.

Studying scripture and prayer connect us with the Divine that is the source of Light, Life, and Love.

Sincerity and integrity will lead you to the Living God.

And He will show you His Salvation!
