Hebrew.

The Hebrew word yirah, translated in the Bible as fear, as in fear God, does not mean fear as in fear of punishment; it means to respect or to reverence God.

And the Hebrew word sane, translated as hate, as in to hate sin, does not mean hating people but to detest or deplore sin.

And so these objectionable and suspect teachings in Fundamentalist and Evangelical Churches that justify fear and hate in fact have no basis in the Biblical witness at all.

God is Love.

And we are to love God as Jesus taught us.

We are not to hate sinners.

   

But we are to pray for them and love them as ourselves.

Pleasing God.

"For thus says the Lord.

To the eunuchs who keep my sabbaths,

who choose what pleases me

and hold fast to my covenant,

I will give, in my house and within my walls,

a monument and a name

better than sons and daughters;

I will give them an everlasting name

that shall not be cut off."  Isaiah 56:4.5 (NRSV)

"'And the one who sent me,

he has not left me alone,

for I always do what is pleasing to him.'"  John 8:29 (NRSV)

"make you complete in every good so that you may do his will, 

working among us that which is pleasing in his sight."  Hebrews 13:21 (NRSV)

But what are the things which please God?

"He has told you, O mortal, what is good;

and what does the Lord require of you

but to do justice, to love kindness, 

and to walk humbly with your God?"  Micah 6:8 (NRSV)

"Did not your father eat and drink

and do justice and righteousness?

Then it was well with him.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy;

is not this to know me? says the Lord.

But your eyes and heart 

are only for dishonest gain,

for shedding of innocent blood,

and for practising oppression and violence."  Jeremiah 22:15,16 (NRSV)

"learn to do good;

seek justice,

rescue the oppressed,

defend the orphan,

plead for the widow."  Isaiah 1:17 (NRSV)

"You shall not oppress a resident alien;

you know the heart of the alien,

for you were aliens in the land of Egypt."  Exodus 23:8 (NRSV) 

These are just a few of the verses in the Bible that point us towards what is pleasing to God.

Goodness, honesty, justice, truthfulness, mercy, tolerance, courage, charity, non-violence, forgiveness, generosity, advocacy, compassion, endurance, perseverance, faith, and love.

See!

God longs for us to see!

To see the evil that surrounds us.

To see the fear that triggers conflict and inhibits our capacity to love.

To see that the Way is not morality or even righteousness but love.

And to see that God is good and our souls - as sparks of the Divine - are good also.

Scapegoating.

And this is what they have done:

Ronald Reagan made of the Hippies and Baby-Boomers a political scapegoat who were blamed for all the evils of the world.

Conservative Christians made of gays and lesbians a moral scapegoat who were punishable with eternal damnation.

And right-wing corporate plutocrats black-banned the left-wing Hippies and threatened to terminate their employment.   

Unions were bashed, corruption was ignored, evil was lauded.

And all of this was fed by Satanism in the popular culture which reversed the responsibility for evil.

But the time has come to emerge from this night of darkness and return to the light.

To refrain from blaming the victims in our society.

To stop punishing the scapegoats.

To reverse what has been backwards.

And return to sanity and truth.

Fear of Sin.

The reason that conservative Christians preach punishment and judgement is fear of sin.

They think that fear of punishment will stop people sinning.

It doesn't work.

People continue to sin.

And increasing the fear in the world only makes matters worse.

We should not fear God.

We should love God.

He is our loving Father.

And He does not punish His children.

Preaching Fear.

Ultimately the cause of all the problems in the world is the preaching of fear.

Fear of God causes people to use force and violate people's rights.

It causes them to hate and shuts them out of the Kingdom of God.

It causes scapegoating and hypocrisy.

And it is the major reason why people in the West have left the Church.

It is also the reason why people reject God and turn to the devil.

But there is no fear in God.

"God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them."  1 John 4:16 (NRSV)

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love."  1 John 4:18 (NRSV)

"Those who say, 'I love God', and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars....."  1 John 4:20 (NRSV)

God does not punish us.

There is no Judgement - personal or collective.

God is our loving Father.

And ultimately the preaching in His Churches is His business.

So pray to God.

And trust in Him.

For us it is impossible.

     

But all things are possible for God.

Death.

"Who will rescue me from this body of death?"  Romans 7:24 (NRSV)

"the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil."  Hebrews 2:14 (NRSV)

These Dualistic concepts in the letters of St. Paul are the basis of Satanism.

They believe that the body and indeed the world itself are ruled by the devil.

That is why they tattoo skulls on their bodies and believe that the devil can grant them fame and fortune.

But these Dualistic concepts have no substance in reality.

God is One.

And the body and the world are His.

Evil in the world does not come from some supernatural source but the errors of human beings ultimately motivated by fear.

Satanism is irrational and metaphysical sleight of hand.

It glorifies the physical body and worldly aspirations.

Which is why it is favored by sportsmen and women and rock stars.

It mostly functions in the subconscious [Hades (Pluto) rules the underworld.]

That is why it is hidden from most of us.

Some of these subliminal methods and techniques have some effect.

That is why they believe its magic.

But it has limited hold over our minds. 

And it can be countered by meditation and prayer.

Negative influences can be countered by meditating on the opposites.

So meditate on Life, Light, and Love.

Pray and practise compassion.

God is merciful and forgiving.

And He can deliver us from evil.

Holism.

The philosophy of Holism is consistent with the assertion that God Is One.

The whole person, the whole world, the whole universe is in God and God is on them.

There is no Dualism - no evil spirits, no devil, no dark powers, no duality of body and spirit, no separation of consciousness and matter.....

All is in God and One with Him.

Older translations of the Bible use the word whole to describe Jesus' miracles.

"'Your faith has made you whole.'"  Luke 8:48 (KJB)

This is consistent with the Holistic notion that the person is a whole - body, mind, and spirit in harmony.

This also applies to nature - Ecology views nature as a whole, not a conglomerate of separate parts.

The Buddhist notion of interconnectedness also supports this idea.

So do not subscribe to concepts of Dualism.

God is One.

And He can make us whole.

Light.

In reality the dark side does not exist.

There is no devil and no dark powers.

These things stem from the idea of Dualism.

But there is no dualism in reality.

Only God.

God is One.

Darkness is an illusion.

It stems from the limitations of our human senses.

There is radiation outside of the range of visible light.

Some animals can see this radiation.

"even darkness is not dark to you;

the night is as bright as the day,

darkness is as light to you"

Struggle.

It would seem that when you reach enlightenment there ensues a struggle with evil.

The Light reveals the evil that is hidden in the darkness around us.

And its attempts to control us.

The struggle strengthens and purifies us.

And it makes us fit for the Kingdom of Heaven.

Corrupt.

Have you noticed the number of movies about rogues, scoundrels, bad guys, evil, anti-heroes, and morally ambivalent characters?

This is no coincidence.

It is a deliberate attempt to corrupt you and turn you to the dark side.

Satanists in the entertainment industries set out to subtly drag you down to their level in the hope that you will be damned to hell with them.

This, combined with Satanism in rock music and sports, is a world-wide web of evil which will poison your mind and sabotage your spirit.

And you will not know happiness until you realize this and make efforts to counter it.

So meditate on goodness, virtue, saints, angels, light, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, and love.

Only then will you find true happiness.

The Dark Side.

All these things stem from an obsession with negations and the dark side.

They oppose the Light.

And they empower the devil.

Astrology.

Satanism is religion backwards.

And this applies to Astrology.

Rock music feeds the negatives aspects of each generations astrological signs.

The slow-moving planets Neptune and Pluto govern the nature of whole generations.

And rock music triggers their negative aspects.

So, if you want to know what these agents of evil are doing, look at your generational planets.

The signs that they fall in will give you clue to their activities.

The remedy for this is to accentuate the positive aspects of your generational planets and signs.

Sex is Love.

Sex is not dirty, sex is not wicked, sex is not bad.

And it is not the domain of the devil.

Sex was created by God.

It is good.

And it is healthy.

So we can engage in sex with God's Blessing.

Sex is Love.

And as such it is intimately wed with Life.

So take no notice of those who demonize sex. 

Sex is Love.

And we have God's Blessing!
