In This Together.

I have not said anything so far about COVID-19 because I thought that enough was being said in the media already.

Apart from observing basic health initiatives there is little that we can say.

I do not believe that COVID-19 is punishment from God of any sort.

Those who are suggesting such things are misguided opportunists with no social conscience.

Neither do I believe that any sort of religious affiliation will make you immune to the virus.

As we have seen the virus is no respecter of persons.

People from all ranks of society can catch it and die.

But it is not a universal death sentence.  People have caught the virus and recovered.

So there's hope.

My personal take on the situation is that we are all in this together.

Everyone in the world is vulnerable.

So we can put aside our differences and our conflicts and work together to overcome this pandemic.

International goodwill will see governments assisting each other in an effort to contain the virus.

We can rejoice in a new sense of shared humanity.

But it is a long road ahead and we must adapt to the new realities.

Staying at home, many alone, is a big change for many.  The telephone and the Internet can help to relieve the isolation.

The new reality of no church may see a renewed sense of community and concern among Christians and other religions alike.

We are all in this together, no matter what your religion.

God is with the health workers and the helpers.

His mercy and His love surround us all.

So stay home and stay well.

My prayers are with you.

May God be with you also.

God.

God loves you.

God does not punish you.

God does not judge you.

God is merciful and compassionate.

He forgives and He delivers.

His love is true.

And His Salvation is forever.

Post-Modernism.

Post-Modernism is the period after Modernism.

In this period it became obvious that science could not answer all questions.

The Newtonian Laws applied to Nature broke down at the very small and the very large levels.

Theoretical Physics began to resemble Cosmology.

And the assumption that Economics would save the world has broken down on the rocky coastline of corruption.

Greed and violence have prevailed.

So what is our Salvation?

Only love can save us.

For love will give to the needy.

And love will show goodwill.

Love will forgive.

And love will let live.

But to do this we must overcome our fears.

And give love to our fellow men and women.

Prayer.

Why does God seem to answer some prayers and not others?

The answer to this age-old question lies in what we are expecting when we pray.

If we are expecting God to grant us everything that we ask for we will be sorely disappointed.

But sometimes our prayers seem to be answered and sometimes they do not.

It is possible that in the latter case God is doing something that we cannot see.

Or He may be waiting for a more propitious time and place.

But our prayers are never wasted.

If only to tune us in to God's benevolence.

Prayers from the heart center us in our soul.

They establish us in our real selves.

And our sincerity registers with God.

So continue to pray with a pure heart.

God will listen.

Wrong?

How can the Church be wrong about God?

Well in Jesus' time the Scribes and Pharisees were wrong about God.

And in our time the Church is wrong about God.

Fear, expectations, and corruption explain why they are wrong.

Fear of God's punishment.

Expectations of Natural Justice.

Corruption of Church and State.

These things combine to create a rigid Orthodoxy which is enforced with threats of hell.

Jesus said of them: "'Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  For you cross sea and land to make a single convert, and you make the new convert twice as much a child of hell as yourselves. '"  Matthew 23;15 (NRSV)

These are the temptations of religious authority.

They were present in Jesus' time and they are present today.

And this is the reason why the Kingdom has not come.

"'But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!  For you lock people out of the kingdom of heaven.  For you do not go in yourselves, and when others are going in, you stop them.'"  Matthew 23;13 (NRSV) 

And they stopped Jesus.

They mocked him.

And they crucified him.

But God had one last blessing up His sleeve.

He resurrected Jesus to Eternal Life!

And He sent the Holy Spirit to his disciples.

So all was not lost.

Until the leaders of the Christian revolution became like the leaders of Israel and re-introduced the religion of heaven and hell.

Revival.

The Hippie Generation was blamed and shamed by Generation X and their Conservative allies.

We were bashed into submission and reconstructed.

Now we shut up and consume.

But the power of the Plutocrats is beginning to wane.

People are sick of their market values and their lies.

We have been reduced to units of productivity.

And we have no political power.

But nothing is more permanent than change.

The wheels are beginning to turn.

And it's time to revive our generation's ideals.

Peace and love and the redistribution of wealth are needed more than ever in our world.

It is up to us to revive them.

To do this we must cure ourselves of the addiction to pleasure which evil forces in our culture has created.

Addictions generate money.

So the Plutocrats support those who would addict us.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll derives from Satanism in rock music.

And make no mistake it is still going on today.

Rock music corrupts and addicts us.

We are the innocent victims of evil.

We must shrug off this burden of evil and revive the peace and love of our youth without the parasites of rock music.

There is no other way.

Peace and Love.

The Hippies preached peace and love.

Our rock stars preached sex and drugs.

The Older Generation and Generation X retaliated with violence and hate.

They made money god.

But money is not the answer to life's problems.

Love is the answer to life's problems.

And peace is what everyone seeks.

So my advice is to return to the philosophy of peace and love.

For God is Love.

And His Peace is everlasting.

Pointing the Finger.

Although Fundamentalist and Evangelical Christians know about Satanism in rock music they persist in pointing the finger at gays and lesbians, Hippies, and Liberals.

These are their political enemies.

Instead of exposing contemporary women in rock music they will insist on blaming gay rock stars and the rock legends of the 1960s and 1970s.

This is  abuse of knowledge.

They do not expose X Generation stars because they are right-wing like themselves.

This is why their campaign had failed.

And this is no coincidence.

We should remember that Ronald Reagan, who initiated this crusade, was a politician.

He was not a saint.

Nor was he a hero.

His campaign was political.

And he abused the knowledge of Satanism in rock music for political purposes.

Liberalism is not Satanism.

Nor is homosexuality.

The Hippies are not Satanists.

Nor are gays and lesbians.

The Satanists are the rock musicians who led them astray in the first place.

Hippies and gays are the victims of Satanism in rock music.

And Fundamentalist and Evangelical Christians blame the victims because they are their political enemies.

The truth about Satanism in rock music will not be accepted until they stop scapegoating their political enemies and learn to forgive.

Make Love.

We are not just here to draw Love from the Heart of God.

Jesus said that the first and greatest commandment was to love God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your might.

And the second commandment was to love our neighbor as ourselves.

So it is clear that we are not merely passive receivers of Love from God but that we are to open our hearts to love God and our neighbor.

Jesus' only commandment was to love one another as he had loved us.

So we are to give our love freely.

And this will make us well.

Well.

"With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation."  Isaiah 12:3 (NRSV)

The Water Carrier draws water from the well.

And this water will make you well.

"'The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.'"  John 4:14 (NRSV)

"'"Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water."'"  John 7:38 (NRSV)

The Water Jar is your heart.

And the water that flows from it is love.

The reservoir of water that supplies the well is the Love of God.

And this Love will make you well.

AFL 2.

There is homophobia in the AFL.

Players and officials from every club attack gay men and torture them.

They blame and shame us and they send us to hell.

Homophobic taints are common.

And hostility towards anyone who is suspected of being gay is rife.

Sports are among the last bastions of homophobia.

And repressed homosexuality can do no good.

The players are afraid.

Afraid of their teammates' reactions.

Afraid of the coach and the administration.

But no good comes from hiding your true self.

Many who have come out have been surprised by the support and love shown to them by those they feared would reject them.

So I would encourage you to come out.

You might be surprised.

AFL 1.

There is Satanism in the AFL.

Players from every club have sold their souls for fame and fortune and a rock star reception.

Your favorite player may well be a devil-worshipper.

So beware of evil in sports.

They will try to addict you.

They crave adulation and money.

It's a billion dollar business.

They call themselves elite.

They win at all costs.

Their philosophy is brutal.

And they hide in the darkness.

They have turned to the dark side.

To Satan and evil.

Enemies to Friends.

".....first be reconciled to your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift."  Matthew 5:24 (NRSV)

Easier said than done.

But God has ways of turning enemies into friends.

And this is by addressing the fears which underlie the animosity between people.

So, rather than seeking justice or revenge, we should pray for our enemies to overcome their fears.

Then our enemies will become our friends.

Whitewash.

The unlikely alliance between Multi-National Corporations and Fundamentalist Christians has seen the Corporations appropriate terminology and methods from religion.

Mission statements, visioning, forgiving debt, even selfless acts in sport derive from the Christian Churches.

This is the Corporations playing God.

They use the nomenclature of Christianity to whitewash their crimes.

And the backlash corrupts the Churches.

So this collusion works both ways.

It corrupts both the Corporations and the Churches.

God's Work.

What then is God's work in the world?

God is Love.

And God's work is a labor of love:

The spreading of Light.

The bringing of Hope.

The making of Peace.

The showing of Compassion.

The practice of Forgiveness.

The reckoning of Mercy.

Charity, Faith, and Non-Violence.

But most of all:

Love.

Respect.

Respect is the key to sex.

With desire comes love and respect.

We should always respect the wishes and the rights and the vows of the object of our desire.

Then we will be free.

Little Faith.

The default philosophy of strength and domination betrays men of little faith.

If they had even a little faith in Jesus or in God they would not resort to war and violence as a response to threats.

Jesus said to turn the other cheek.

And God has non-violent ways of resolving conflict.

But no one in power ever seems to risk them.

They are men of little faith.

So lay down the sword and throw yourself at the mercy of God.

He will answer.

War.

The final part of the scenario of fear that has engulfed us is war.

War is the response of the rich and powerful owners of our media to a foreign threat.

Their candidate - the strong leader - will crush the threat with superior force.

So you see romanticization of the military in the media.

And hysterical claims about foreigners.

But this is Pax Romana - peace by domination.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace.

He said to turn the other cheek.

And God exhorts us to non-violence.

So Fundamentalist Christians who support a political strong man are bankrupt.

Neither Jesus nor God supports war.

Guns.

Part of the climate of fear whipped up by the media is the issue of gun ownership.

Common people influenced by hysterical media coverage believe that they need a gun to protect themselves.

This is fighting violence with violence.

But this never works.

It just embroils you in more violence.

Gun control laws on the other hand will reduce violence.

Unstable or radicalized people will not be able to purchase a gun in the first place.

But the belief that the threat can be put down by superior violence is fed by the media for political purposes.

So do not be afraid.

Surrendering your gun may help to end gun violence in our world.

Time.

"For there is still a vision for the appointed time."  Habakkuk 2:3 (NRSV)

In 2024 Pluto enters the sign of Aquarius.

So it will be 40 years since Pluto entered Scorpio in 1984.

40 years in the wilderness.

We have been betrayed, intimidated, threatened, bashed, blamed, shamed, imprisoned, silenced, and murdered.

Hate and evil rose up against us.

Generation X turned to the devil.

Violence, revenge, demonization, and judgement.

Pointing the finger.

A gay scapegoat.


But Liberalism is not dead.

And Aquarius is a liberal sign.

So after 2024 we will see a revival of liberal politics.

The culture wars will be resolved.

And a new enlightenment will emerge.

We are seeing the beginnings of this with the revelations of Progressive Christianity.

After 40 years in the wilderness we will enter the promised land of Aquarius.

One Last Thing.

The Capitalist plotters have allied themselves with Satanists in the popular culture.

The Hitler-worshipping devil worshippers in rock music and entertainment who intensified the judgement and torture with which Generation X attacked the Baby-Boomers have lent their black magic practices to Corporate plutocrats and media moguls.

This is symbolized by the marriage between Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall.

And so the Black Beast has magic powers.

It speaks "like a dragon."  Revelation 13:11 (NRSV)

It twists words and abuses language.

"It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God."  Revelation 13:6 (NRSV)

As Generation X have.

So the picture is complete.


But its time is up.

The truth will out.

God will answer our prayers.

There will be no white rider.

No Armageddon.

No Wrath.

God is non-violent.

His inmost nature is Love.

And He judges no one.  (John 5:22, 8:15)

We will be free at last.

Judgement Day.

Ronald Reagan used expectations of Judgement Day* as the Millennium approached to intensify his attack on the Baby-Boomers and Communism.

And Generation X blew the trumpet with glee.

But time marches on.

And we are well past the Millennium.

Ronald Reagan is long gone.

And Generation X are old, overweight, and wrecked.

Their black clothes are faded.

And their evil is abating.

Judgement.

Judgement as a political weapon.

Since Ronald Reagan* reintroduced religion to the political debate we have seen judgement used as a political weapon.

The older generation had their revenge on the Baby-Boomers and condemned them, ostensibly for sexual transgressions, but in reality for left-wing/Socialist views.

And Generation X grabbed their chance to damn their hated enemies.

Reagan called us "agents of the devil" and Generation X labelled us "loose".

You hypocrites!

Jesus said: "'Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.'" Matthew 7"1 (NRSV)

And "loose" from the generation that popularized male strippers and toy-boys.

You hypocrites!

But the fact remains that Judgement should not be used as a political weapon.

The Religious Right gave in to the temptation to judge their enemies.

It gave them power and privilege.

But most of all it provided a political victory.

Black Beast.

Since 1984 we have been under the spell of the Black Beast.

Bad, get real, pure evil.....

Materialism, corruption, tax cuts, job cuts, union bashing, gay hate, fundamentalism*, Hippies in hell.....

Death, darkness, sin, filthy, wicked, despicable, abominable.....

Lies, fake news, nick-names, headlines,......

Hate mail, madness.....

Fear.

The Black Beast is anti-religious, anti-democratic, anti-socialist, anti-welfare, anti-gay, anti-life.....

It wins through force and violence, threats and intimidation.

It bears no criticism.

It does not share power.

And it brainwashes everyone.

The darkness hides it.

It denies its own existence.

It is powered by Satanism.

And it feeds on hate.


But the White Light has come.

Angels and Fairies.

Compassion and tolerance.

Mercy, forgiveness.

Charity.

Love.

We are drawn by the Light.

To make a change of heart.

A commitment to good.

A reverence for God.

A preference for the beautiful exigencies of Love.

Courage and integrity.

Truth to power.

Care for the poor.

Compassion for the suffering.

And end to war.

A voice for the powerless.

A heart overflowing with

Unconditional Love.

Leniency.

Contrary to popular belief leniency is not weakness but strength.

The I-Ching says that inferior men rule through harsh penalties and violence but the superior man is lenient and in harmony with the other stations of society and this reflects the benevolent Will of Heaven.

So don't respond when the media calls for harsher penalties.

Pope Francis says that the name of God is Mercy.

We should look to rehabilitation and re-education as solutions to our problems.

Then we will be in tune with God.

Schizophrenia.

I believe that schizophrenia is caused by evil.

The voices that schizophrenics hear are evil.

Therefore the remedy for schizophrenia is good.

And all good comes from God.

There are records of Jesus healing schizophrenics in the New Testament, notably Legion - "For we are many".

But schizophrenia is not demonic possession.

There are no supernatural demons or spirits.

Schizophrenia rather is to do with the collective unconscious.

This is why they hear other people's voices.

And the troublesome voices come from evil in the environment working through the collective unconscious.

I believe that covert Satanism in rock music, entertainment, and sports works specifically through the unconscious.

Practices like subliminal suggestion and backtracking in rock music affect us directly.

But listening to their music and watching their videos, movies, and T.V. shows puts us in contact with them and this is where the voices that schizophrenics hear come from.

That being said untreated schizophrenics can also suffer from paranoid hallucinations and delusions.

So it is necessary to treat schizophrenia with anti-psychotic medication.

But medication alone will not solve the problem.

We must recognize the evil in our environment and adjust our behavior accordingly.

Darkness.

If we reject the Church and live our lives as if there is no God we are prey to all the negative influences in our society.

Corporate dictatorship, media control, advertising, Satanic rock music, dark movies, reality T.V......

All these things drag us down and rip us off.

If we accept the Church and believe that there is a God we are indoctrinated with negative doctrines and dogmas.

God is a harsh judge, He punishes us for our sins, Jesus death atones for our sins, we must repent or suffer, we are all condemned etc......

These traditional teachings have been handed down from generation to generation.

Unfortunately they are not true.

Jesus said that the Pharisees did not know God.

And his priests still do not.

So go into your room and close the door.

Pray to God with all your heart.

He will answer you.

And deliver you from darkness.

Heaven on Earth.

We try to create Heaven on Earth by accumulating money and possessions.

We surfeit our bank accounts and beautify our homes.

But luxury cars and chandeliers will not create Heaven on Earth.

We are obsessed with the material.

And the material is empty.

What creates Heaven on Earth is love.

When there is love we feel good about life.

When there is no love we struggle.

To have your love requited is Heaven on Earth.

This, however, does not always happen.

So we must overcome our fears and open our hearts to everyone.

Then, if we give our love freely, we will always be in love.

And there will be Heaven on Earth.

Fear Not.

The Way of Good Works and the Way of Asceticism are fueled by fear.

Fear that if we don't accumulate enough good works we will go to hell.

And fear that if we indulge in earthly pleasures we will go to hell,

But there is no hell in reality.

Hell is fear itself.

And there is no fear in God.

God loves us.

And all that He requires of us is love.

The Way of Love.

The Law of Moses is superseded by Jesus' Way of Love.

Thus rigid adherence to the letter of the Law is set aside according to the understanding of the heart.

What does your heart say?

This takes precedence over morality and principles where they conflict with the exigencies of Love.

God punishes no one.

All are His beloved children.

And He will not condemn us.

So always adhere to the imperatives of your heart.

Evil.

Today in church was the first Sunday of Lent and we had readings about temptation: Adam and Eve and Jesus in the wilderness.

My take on these readings is that they are attempts to explain our experience of evil in the world.

But contrary to the texts I do not believe that evil has a supernatural origin.

I believe that evil in our world is the result of the ignorant actions of human beings with free-will.

It is not the actions of some devil or dark forces.

The world offers temptation enough: power, money, status, oppression; prejudice, violence, abuse, hate.....

These things corrupt us and divert us from our purpose.

Which is Love.

Love Songs.

Have you ever noticed that most of the love songs put out by rock stars are about leaving love?

They never seem to be about successful love relationships.

They are about broken hearts.

Sex and drugs and rock and roll ruined two generations' relationships.

They are all divorced.

And this was done deliberately by Satanists in rock music.

They turned peace and love into war and hate.

And they asked: "What is more important love or immortality?"

These subversive tactics have left two-thirds of the population single.

And two generations without love.
